Hey Linux GoG Guys,

Do you know when the official installer for the Linux version of Ruiner will be available ?

Thanks

There are a few major bug fixes in the pipeline for it.

I also reported some missing graphical effects on the game's Steam page, better illustrated in this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/awvOkyV.jpg

Great devs, great people, I love their optimism and willingness to improve.

Good thing, developers are actually paying attention to GOG forums too (see the link above), unlike many others.

I wish more did, only thing I use my Steam account for is to contact devs.
So I need to draw a simple floor plan of?/over?/for?/sth else? my kitchen and GIMP does not seem suitable at all for the job. I could boot into Windows XP and do it in Paint, which works just fine for this task, but I would rather stay on the Linux side if there is any suitable program that is free. Any recommendations?

Hmm… I'm at loss here. Last time I checked GIMP seemed capable of doing straight lines with SHIFT+CTRL combination.

But in case this fails try Krita.
Plan sounds like vector graphics. Try Inkscape.

Agreed. Inkscape also makes it easy to move/scale objects to unit coordinates/dimensions. (I used it and some digital calipers to design the template for an end/back label insert for my Gameboy cartridge clamshell cases.)
Anyone have a list of libraries that cause issues with open source AMD drivers?

I suppose anything that uses compat profile will be an issue. For the list of games, see:
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/wiki/Games_broken_on_Mesa

Another common problem - bundling of incompatible libstdc++.

Thanks for the informative link. No need for me to try to fix X3:TC anymore then :-( Not for now anyway.

I think my post above could be confusing. I didn't mean the list of games that use compat profile, but list of games that have some known bugs with Mesa in general :)

I recently had to remove libgcc_s.so.1 from Momodora to get it to run. The gpg libs have also been problems in the past.
Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I am curious why some DosBOXed games won't run natively on Linux? Why some are and some aren't available for linux is beyond me, heck they all use dosbox. Any thoughts?
