Nirth: Chicago 1930 doesn't run too well for some reason, I think it has something to do with DirectDraw (and Windows 7) and it slows down heavily the more I move my mouse.
Odd. That's the only GG title that runs flawlessly for me, which is fitting because that game is the only reason I joined GamersGate.
Too new:
currently none, but some have (well known) performance issues even with good GPU, likely due to their design or lack of optimization, e.g.
- Miasmata (Steam, frequent graphical hickups)
- The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (GOG, occasional graphical hickups)

Too old:
- Soulbringer (GOG, doesn't work with Win 8)
- (Captain) Claw (retail, doesn't seem to work with Win 8 64-bit, already tried a fix, still bad performance)
- Outlaws (retail, but thankfully I can now buy a hopefully working copy on GOG)
- Silver (retail, and sadly the GOG version doesn't work as intended for me)
- Sacred (Steam and GOG, runs less smotthly on Win 8 compared to running on my old Vista rig, even after tweaking)
and probably a few more in this vein

I've the GG version as well. Do you run Windows 7? If so, 32 or 64-bit?
Crysis 2... CPU overheats

Klumpen0815: Gothic 3 (well, not really new but playing it with 4gb RAM is impossible)
never had issue with it, even the abomination of "Gothic" 4 Arcania works and I have 4gb ram

Arcania causes less problems in general.
Gothic 3 is the most unstable game on my WinXP 32bit machine I ever encountered even with the most up-to-date community patch (that wasn't included in the GoG version btw), it's crashing the whole system way more than even Fallout 3 did (I was at least able to finish this one without rebooting every 10 minutes).
My XP-partition is used solely for gaming and doesn't have even any bloatware, so I guess it's the old ATI driver since they stopped properly supporting XP ages ago.

Never managed to run "Red Baron 3D", on either of my computers.

Ceased to care.
Hrm... I only have one; Gorky 17. It just plain will not run on my computer, no matter what trickery I try.
And I'm not quite interested enough to go full-on virtual machine for this. >_>

I managed to run it but it was impossible to keep the plane in the air. I don't remember experiencing this kind of trouble back in the day so my guess is that it's a CPU-speed related problem that makes the physics act up or something.

Win 7, I don't know if it's 64 or 32.
Saints Row 4 (and probably some others that I cannot currently remember). I could play it a year ago, as I was still running Windows 7. In upgrading my computer about a year ago, I replaced the Microsoft OS with a community-built one, and as such have some troubles running games that require Direct 3D 10, and I have yet to get KVM, Virtual Machine Manager, and vfio-vga running as well together as I'd like.

Right-click on "Computer", choose "Properties". The label "System type" should tell you.
Do , look [url=http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs33/f/2008/305/4/5/Windows_7_Computer_Properties_by_Misaki2009.jpg]there. (Thanks to random screenshots posted in places I would never think to look, had not a search pointed me there.)

Good Lord, how old are your PCs if you can't run The Witcher 2?

My rig is almost 9 years old (my GPU almost 6) and it runs TW2 just fine.

I can't run Witcher 1. XD
Kohan 2.

It's really upsetting because I love that game. It just won't run on windows 8.1. If anyone has a workaround I'd love to know.

What are you trying to run it on? A blackboard?
