I don't know what you are thinking, but they ran two Kickstarter campaigns for the game, and both were successful.

Strange. I remember it not looking good for meeting its goal at one point, but I guess it did. I wasn't even aware it had a second kickstarter. Good to see it release in any case as I rather liked Quest for Glory when I played it for the first time in recent years.
