capricorn1971ad: sucks having to buy the stuff over and over again though.
Andrey82: This is exactly why i came to GOG: some my DRM-protected games stopped working on new Windows 7, so i was left with two options - pirate them risking getting viruses or buy it on GOG with no DRM. At least, i don't have to buy them again for new OS or hardware. :)
yeah, androids aren't really much good for gaming, the single exception i have found to that was xcom enemy unknown when played with a 2013 nexus 7, was the only game worth buying again for android, well, maybe Icewind dale, it wasn't bad either, but most android stuff is terrible, more often than not stuff doesn't work right.
but i gotta tell ya, xcom would drain the power on a tablet quick too, and only 3 saves plus 1 cloud save allowed, icewind dale would run for hours on end on the other end of the spectrum.
i wish imperium galactica 2 would actually work on android, i would be playing right now, and for the record it is digital reality that sells it on android as well, lets hope the PC version doesn't reflect that, it actually was a good game.
when I first started using PC's we had a command prompt.
we were learning gw-basic back then, and then the trash 80's..
in time we got to a point that for PC (lol) we had 2 types:
IBM and IBM Clones, there were no "PCs", just IBM's and "Clones", as far as "PCs" go (meaning excluding amiga and mac and all the rest).
its gonna change again, technology is gonna get so so much more advanced, and the funniest part is that it keeps getting smaller and smaller as it gets greater and greater, it's gonna disappear, you do understand that right?
some of the games i owned the first time around are available here, but now they say "PC", but they ased to say IBM Clone, like these did:
https://www.gog.com/game/forgotten_realms_the_archives_collection_two what they say and what they mean are two different things, or the meaning will change with the words, which will change in time.
