^ About time! Frozen Synapse is a really great game.

Don't know about Frozen Cortex though.

So does this mean that GOG will get more SSI games? What about Su-27 Flanker?

Oh HELL YES.

Can never get the graphics to work on modern computers.
A blue text seemed to hint that Ravenloft was also incoming...

It will be interesting to see how the War Wind series is handled, the games don't work well under Windows XP onwards. There were graphical glitches and random crashes were too common, I don't recall anyone even trying to fix these issues either.

As GOG will also act as a publisher on this one, they could modify the game code to suit it to modern machine.

To modify a game's code before selling it, 3 things are required.
1) The publisher's permission.
2) The game's code.
3) People who can actually modify said code.

While GOG will have 1, it's not sure they will have 2 and/or 3. I doubt the game's code will be modified any time soon.

I assume that they were aware of the problems before buying the game rights and assume they have a fair chance to correct them. But yes, it probably will take some time.
Someone just made an interesting observation regarding Fallouts:

As an alternative to 2 and 3, people who are able to reverse engineer the compiled code and change it using tools such as a hex editor. This is much harder than just changing the source code and recompiling, but it is possible (I've done this a couple times).

Also, you are missing one other thing: For 2 and 3, you also need to have a compiler that can compile the code, as well as everything else the compilation needs. A modern compiler will not necessarily work, as languages and libraries change over time, and different versions of the same compiler will have different bugs (and code might rely on compiler bugs to function as intended).

I can confirm this.

2 new entries in the companies filter:
Iron Tower Studio (that will be for Age of Decadence)
and a new entry for id Software. The previous one, "id Software, Softdisk Publishing" is for the Catacomb Pack. So it does seem like Zenimax/Bethesda is coming soon, and they will be bringing more than just the classic Fallouts. :D

Today’s release of 13 games on GOG focused just on the Forgotten Realms. Among the missing games were the Dragonlance-based Krynn series: Champions of Krynn, Death Knights of Krynn, and Dark Queen of Krynn. GOG’s Tomasz Nalewajk told GamesBeat this morning that they haven’t forgotten about these games.

“We won’t beat around the bush: they’re coming. Hopefully, we’ll be able to make that announcement as well in the not-too-distant future,” he said.

I hope so! However, can Zenimax/Bethesda really go DRM-free? This is the question.
