Ixamyakxim: I actually had only heard of Age of Decadence recently as well. I was glad for that because I would have HATED to have been one of the people looking forward to it since the beginning... *shudder*

Glad to hear it sounds like this is the home stretch - does that post make it sound like October(ish) is pretty firm? Also - Iron Tower - the same people that dead Dead State yes? I actually really enjoyed that game.

I just looked at a few screenshots of AoD - I like the blocky, grainy aesthetic it has going on. Old school grit, but still enough modern day polish to make it easy on the eyes for *ahem* extended play sessions.
When I did a search for "Age of Decadence" on MobyGames, it returned this:

Age of Decadence

I don't know as much as others, but from what I've learned it's an old school, turn based iso-RPG set in a post-"Fall of Rome" but pseudo fantasy world. So a post-post-Rome ;) It's also been VERY long in development.

Again, from the brief stuff I've read it sounds almost like Fallout in that there will be multiple ways to resolve problems / quests and there are a bevy of social skills in addition to normal combat stuff. It also sounds like interactions and scheming / personal alliances will play as much a part of the game as said combat.

Yeah, it does look interesting.

But when it comes to waiting for games, I still have no idea why GOG still hasn't acquired Necrodancer yet...

Is this out on Steam yet? Was it delayed? Could GoG have run into some issue? It's been up on the "Upcoming" page for ages now. Giving Crawl a run for its money ;)

Yes, it was released back in April on Steam. I suppose that GOG wants to Galaxify the game before releasing it here.

I think Crawl is a figment of GOG's imagination! :P

Dead State is by DoubleBear, though according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_State#Development_and_release they share an engine. (I assume that means they share more than just both using Torque 3D.)
NeocoreGames have announced that they are planning to release The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut (essentially, all three Van Helsing games combined in one enhanced package) on GOG. From their FAQ:

Q: Will the Final Cut be released on other digital stores?

A: It will be distributed on Steam, the Humble Store, Gamersgate and GOG.com.

Okay, I did some scanning of the companies that show up in GOG's company filter in the catalog page (you can see the full list if you View Page Source). Now, there's a few old entries for games that are no longer here, and a lot for the movie companies, but there's also some that appear to point to upcoming titles. First, let's get the ones we already knew about out of the way:
GungHo, Game Arts - Grandia II HD, already mentioned to be coming here
Playway - bringing the Kickstarted game previously mentioned 'The Way'
Rogue Entertainment - the developer behind Strife, eventually coming to GOG via Night Dive Studios
NeocoreGames - Gragar has already found out that they are bringing The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
Cinematix - Developers of Revenant, the problematic-for-GOG-to-get-working RPG

Questionable entries:
Meldannic - Probably related to Ozark of the game Seven Cities of Gold
Raven Software - Probably listed because they developed Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Gray Matter Interactive - A company previously known as Xatrix (behind games like Cybera, Kingpin, and Redneck Rampage) but developed Call of Duty: United Offensive and Return to Castle Wolfenstein under this name
Idea Factory International - Numerous, similar entries for what could have been their release of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, which the six-plus-month long engimatic hint seemed to point to until things apparently fell through.

Other entries:
Rowan Software
Sixteen Tons Entertainment
Bethesda Softworks LLC - I'm pretty sure I checked last week and this wasn't there. I want to believe.
Microsoft
Skybox Labs - Their games would pair with Microsoft
Konami
Namco Bandai
Related Designs
Asylum Creatures - A Polish indie studio working on the game (un)Lucky 7, of which there has been no update for more than 18 months.

Obviously, nothing is guaranteed, and it could be months or years before any of these show up.
