Matruchus: Update on Train Fever:

The game won't be released on gog for now
That's too bad. Looks like a nice little 3D TT-like game. That price tag though. Ouch.

It's definitely an odd case. Several sites mention it'll be on GOG while the developer says it won't be. I suppose we should take the latter's word for it? *shrug*

Kind of obvious, but should be mentioned

I think that gamershell just picked that news from the Gamescom where it was announced that the game will be released on gog but before I saw that annoucement from Gamescom I already contacted the developer in July and the response was already partly negative then.

Edit: And also there is no mention of Train Fever gog release on developer's webpage.

Guilty Gear X2 #Reload re-release on GamersGate. The publisher is listed as Kiss so a chance for it to show up here at least.

Speaking of Kiss, what's up with Z Steel Soldiers?

JinseiNGC224 claims to have gotten an official response to that matter. Since then, nothing more has been heard.

staticblast: Dunno whether this counts, but Project Phoenix is considering releasing on GOG according to their FAQ.
GOG, or GoG?
...and also considering putting this up on GoG
=P

If they do release it here, I wouldn't mind one bit. I'll happily try it.

The Cinemaware classics are on their way here:
http://www.indieretronews.com/2014/09/cinemaware-some-of-greatest-classics.html
"Guillaume Rambourg, managing director of GOG.com, said, “We started GOG.com as a store that sold only classic games; and many of us at the office have fond memories playing Cinemaware’s titles on Amiga when we were kids. These games had a cinema-like flavour and universe of their own. It’s a real pleasure for us to bring back to life some of their classic titles in a DRM-free fashion, for nostalgic and young gamers alike!""
In addition: "also the very first Amiga games will also be sold with the DOS versions through GOG"

Nice! I really like the last sentence - "As soon as the games appear on GOG next week, we will let you know."

Wow, this is really cool news! I assume Cinemaware "revoked" the games' freeware status.

And ... Amiga versions being sold?! How?!

Well, if Cinemaware made the Amiga versions freeware (I don't have any idea, but your post implies the unaltered DOS ones were freeware at one time, so possibly you know if the Amigas were freeware too), possibly they're simply bundling freeware copies of the Amiga versions in with the paid DOSBox-using GOGified versions, and labeling them "use at your own risk, we don't support them".
