WinterSnowfall: 2 new company entries for:
-> 2K Boston, 2K Australia, Blind Squirrel
-> 2K Marin, 2K China, Digital Extremes, 2K Australia, Blind Squirrel

Is Bioshock finally landing on GOG? Sunset Overdrive? What could it be?
No Insomniac entry, so it's at the very least Bioshock 1+2 Remastered. It remains to be seen if the original versions and Infinite will come along.

That looks promising!
Some of the games mentioned involved Blind Squirrel but not any of 2K Boston, 2K Australia, 2K Marin, 2K China or Digital Extremes. Only the Bioshock games fit the full list of companies. Games like Borderlands 2 did not involve those companies.

Yes, but people were reacting to the dev combos involving Blind Squirrel being found in the database. That is no indication of any of the Borderlands games coming here since the rest of the developers in those two combos were not involved in any Borderlands game.

Edit:

For example WinterSnowfall quoted the list of companies and mentioned Sunset Overdrive as a possibility but that was Insomniac Games and Blind Squirrel, it didn't involve any of the 2K companies or Digital Extremes.

New companies combination in the catalog: 2K Boston, 2K Australia
According to Wikipedia's article about 2K Boston , the only game released under that name is BioShock. Classic editions incoming?

Edit: The remasters have been changed to '2K Marin, 2K China, Digital Extremes, 2K Australia'.

Honig Studios for El Hijo

El Hijo is a spaghetti western, indie stealth game.
The game is set in a mythical place that very much resembles the American west as we know it from Sergio Leone’s westerns, borrowing some of the most popular characteristics such as gangs of outlaws, shady saloons, and desert landscapes, all served up with a good helping of sarcasm and irony.
The journey begins when a farmer and her son El Hijo are attacked by bandits who raze their farm to the ground. The mother, confronted with a difficult choice, decides to leave El Hijo with a group of old monks at a secluded monastery in order to protect him.
However, El Hijo decides that the monastic life is not for him, and he decides to escape.

The player sneaks through three different environments –
a remote monastery, a harsh and unforgiving stretch of desert, and a frontier town rife with crime and villainy.
In every environment El Hijo must contend with different opponents that will require the player to come up with a mischievous master plan to progress through the game by combining stealth and puzzle-solving.
The further El Hijo proceeds through the game the more complex the combinations get.
Kaizen Game Works for Paradise Killer (release September 4th)

Paradise Killer is a free form, open world murder mystery game. The player investigates a mass murder of a ruling council as they wish, piecing together clues and forming their own arguments to present in the end game trial. Only through scouring a mysterious island filled with secrets protected by lunatics and psychopaths will the player solve the heinous murder.
Matthias Linda for Chained Echoes

CHAINED ECHOES is a classic SNES-styled RPG, bringing back all the fun things from that era while reinventing and developing them further. Follow a group of heroes on their journey through the war-ridden land of Valandis. Fight against hordes of enemies in a turn based battle system. There are no random encounters and no separate battle arena is involved. This allows for the player to use the environment to his advantage, either in the midst of the fight or in preparation for it. In case fighting your enemies with sword or magic is not enough, you can switch to your Mech and bring out the big guns. A complex battle and skill system makes sure that everything stays balanced and fun. Additionally there will be a deep equipment system, allowing for a lot of customization of your characters, your Mechs and even your own airship! And having an airship means that there will be a whole world map waiting for the players to be explored. CHAINED ECHOES is a colorful adventure full of surprises, fun characters, and an engaging story.
Pirita Studio for Mutropolis (Sci-Fi point and click adventure):

In the 25th century, the great humankind achievements, such as pyramids or Humphrey Bogart’s movies, were completely forgotten. Henry and his nerdy team of archaeologists have been working hard for years, on the ground, digging treasures with the extremely rare hallmark “Made in China” and watching weird Indiana Jones documentaries. Until some dog-looking God come to ruin everything.
Torpor Games for Suzerain

As President Rayne, lead Sordland into ruin or repair in your first term. Navigate a political drama driven by conversations with your cabinet members and other significant figures.
Beware or embrace corruption; shirk or uphold ideals. How will you lead?

Lead the fictional country of Sordland in 1954.
Can you keep Sordland out of war with the encroaching nation of Rumburg? Can you launch and complete a new mega infrastructure project? Can you fix the welfare system? The responsibility falls on your shoulders.

Sordland has been under the leadership of Colonel Soll for over two decades after he ended the bloody civil war. Now in 1954, Soll is gone but his political party is still in control of Sordland — until a charismatic young man, Anton Rayne, surprises everyone by rising to the top of the party and getting elected as the new President of Sordland.

Work closely with your Cabinet members to forge strong policies and practices for your government. But remember: everyone has their own ideals, and agenda. Pick your allies carefully, and your enemies even more carefully.

Tackle difficult choices on immigration, healthcare, law enforcement, and more in this alternate world set in the 1950s. Even outside the office, your beliefs will be challenged among your friends, and your family. Will you support the Equal Rights movement? Encourage government control of the media? Maintain traditional values or embrace reform?

I didn't even know about the game, now I do. Way to get more exposure lol.
'Gamers' from one country. Does CDPR have it's balls grasped by China?

On a lighter note, CyberShadow now has a release dat! Jan 26th.

The epic store is owned by chinese investors (or so I've been told). Ever since GOG announced its "partnership" with the epic store I've been suspecting that they've some sort of stronger "ties" with China.
Again, this is just my suspicion. Never seen anything which could prove my theory.

I am not going to get into discussion about morality, much less politics. I'll just say that China is very powerful country with a big market, and if you own business you would probably want to remain in their good graces. Thankfully, I don't own business.

GOG could hide the game for the Chinese market - such a mechanism already exists and works here.
Why are they unhappy with the release, and the game was blocked for us?
