Did any of the blues chime in to say why deathgate was removed?
softporn was deleted from my account as well.
I still have SP on my account, but let's see... Anyone heard from GOG support yet what that is about, and has anyone affected noticed it re-appearing later?

Oh well, at least I have it already downloaded on my hard drive (thanks, gogrepo!).

timppu: has anyone affected noticed it re-appearing later?
Yes.
GOG Support ignored me for two days, and replied me with something like "we knew it, don't worry".
After that, days passed, and Softporn Adventure is still not in my library.

I will tag the Ticket unsatisfied, even after I get my game back.
No, the game does not come back yet.

edit: Off topic and removed. My three open tickets are in other areas. I misread the thread title. Excuse me.

So why was Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth removed so quickly? I waited so long for that to show up here, and it was only $5, but it was during a sale on GOG and a budget crunch on my end. Not even half a month later, it was gone :( .. usually I get most GOG games I want day 1 too, so I was royally ticked off, naturally.

Was it about some sort of modding? And has anyone heard anything about the possibility of a return?

A takedown request under GOG’s copyright policy. No new information that I've seen.
One of the blues replied regarding removed Softporn Adventure from our libraries: "It's being looked into, sorry for the hassle."

boy, that's great that they're looking into it but the fact that their database is chewing up games in our accounts is worrisome (even if it was a freebee). i was going to pre-order pillars of eternity 2 and star control origins today and pick up the new lego games too but i think i'm going to hold off until we get an actual explanation as to whats's going on and/or they get our accounts back in shape. not going to spend money on something that may or may not be available to me when i want it, plus the fact that the musical accounts thing (which has been going on for weeks) hasn't been addressed at all bothers me.

oh, and i submitted a support ticket last night.

Softporn Adventure was NOT a freebee. It was part of the deal for the package LSL Collection (it was in the description of the store page, NOT in the bonus goodies section).

Yeah... actually Softporn was included in Larry collections since 1994 with Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits & Misses.

I almost miss the days when GOG would release historically accurate bundles like this for no good reason. It's literally the only reason we have Planetfall on GOG, for example (as part of the Zork Collection).

I miss the days when GOG released bundles. Period. :p
