I will probably be corrected, but I believe everything that came in Starter Edition other than the base game is now free.

As such, there would be little reason to buy it.

Paradox has done this before with Europa Universalis 4, so there is hope that it will happen to their other thousand-fold DLC games.

Ah, indeed, confirmed! I'd missed that they made those things free. And curious that they're still charging for the soundtrack, while that's contained in the free Galaxy Edition Upgrade Pack... (And the Stellaris Upgrade Bundle is now particularly bad value, too, with two of the five products contained in it being free.)

A Musical Story, A Musical Story Digital Deluxe Version, A Musical Story Soundtrack and A Musical Story Demo were removed from the store today.

Royal Revolt Survivors was removed from the store. It's apparently not "coming soon" after all.

With a hat-tip to Kevin04: Curse of the Sea Rats and Curse of the Sea Rats - Original Soundtrack were removed on the evening of 2026-05-01. (I missed seeing them in GameSieve's logs as I was travelling the next day, and then there was Stellaris and Etrange launch edition removal noise which obscured these.)

Stellaris: Galaxy Edition was also just removed from the store; it effectively had the same issue.

The plan is to remove all the now-free items as separate products and roll them all into the base game with the next update, with a $10 increase in the base price.

Stellaris: Galaxy Edition Upgrade Pack, Stellaris: Utopia, Stellaris: Synthetic Dawn Story Pack, Stellaris: Humanoids Species Pack and Stellaris: Complete Soundtrack were all removed from the store (but are now included in the base game - except that the soundtrack seems to have disappeared! Contacting support about that... #4261786).

Spark in the Dark DEMO was removed from the store, with the full Spark in the Dark game showing up (in early access).

Legendary Hoplite appears to not be coming-soon after all, as it and its free prologue (demo?) Legendary Hoplite: Ajax’s Trial were just removed from the store.

"Mixed" rating on Steam, 63/100. Funny, I assumed it was doing very well and the devs just didn't want to bother with the comparably tiny amount of money to be made here.

Clouzy! will be removed from GOG soon.
Its to be removed from steam on june 1 and becomes free on itchio instead.
They mention in a comment that the studio is closing down and are in the process of removing it from all stores.
If you have an interest in this game or have kids that do, maybe get it now to be safe.
They say they will try to give a discount outside of steam also but cant promise.

Was looking for similar games to Slime Rancher and stumbled on that one.

Today, after four years with Clouzy! published on Steam, we regret to say goodbye. It was a fantastic university project that we decided to release and try to make a name for ourselves in the industry.

As a farewell, we want to do things as well as possible, so we've contacted the Steam team to follow these steps:

The game will be removed from the Steam store on June 1, 2026.

Starting May 17, there will be a 94% discount, the maximum the store allows us, in case anyone wants to get a copy here on Steam.

From that day forward, the game will be available for free download on itch.io for anyone who wants to play it.

Kingpin Reloaded was removed today, as it's apparently not coming soon after all.

Additionally, The Outer Worlds, The Outer Worlds: Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle, The Outer Worlds Expansion Pass, The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos, The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon and The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition Upgrade were all removed, with only The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition (plus the soundtrack) remaining.

Goddamit! Knew my wishlist had shrunk by one and here it is! really wanted to get a complete edition of the original version for posterity. Now the Amazon gifted copy in my library just feels useless. Why can't they send an alert out to owners of the base game first or something, before delisting? If they think I'm going to shell out for the Spacer's Choice edition now they're dreaming.

Check your library. :) Everyone who owned just the base game got (or is soon getting; it's a long process) both the Spacer's Choice Edition and the DLC for the base game for free.

Very cool! Would never have noticed the updated DLC additions without this, thank you! Crazy there was no marketing behind the updates and giveaway. The completion of the og game is my favourite thing, but the spacer's choice addition is a class move from Obsidian.
