It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I assume then, that the patch tool has to identify the corresponding engine version and downloads only the respective updated dll file?
How does it work in practice? Do you point the tool to the install directory or does it scan your whole system for existing game installs?
You run the patcher (it's a windows GUI program). You tell it where the game's UnityPlayer.dll is. You press the patch button, it checks the dll, and then downloads a fixed one for it, overwriting the original. It tells you whether it was successful or not (e.g. if you run it on a patched DLL it does nothing, telling you it is already patched).

There's also a command-line version, but I did not try it yet.

P.S. If you want me to answer a question, please reply to one of my posts, do not just write @mrkgnao. I don't read everything.

Good to know. Thanks to both of you.

I noticed Aftermath got pulled last month.

It was a third-person action-adventure announced in 2022. The game might be cancelled as it's no longer listed on the former publisher's website (archive), although the developers haven't scrubbed their own page yet.

The devs are still active: they're working on The Fading of Nicole Wilson, a follow-up to The Suicide of Rachel Foster.

The 'boiled water' page also links to aftermathgame.com, but if you go there it's now an ad for something called 'MostBet Bangladesh'.

gogtrial34987: This must be some kind of mistake, but it appears as if Pillars of Eternity and Wasteland 3 have been delisted in all their editions, and with all their DLCs.

Also As Dusk Falls.
Pillars of Eternity is back now.
Paradox are releasing Survivng Mars: Relaunched, and will stop selling the original. As they have no plans for a GOG release of the Relaunch version, expect Surviving Mars to be delisted.

I think this was intended for that thread:

Becastled Demo has been removed on the same day that the main game has left early access.

Vaguely annoying, as I was actually thinking about giving that demo a try, but hadn't yet gotten around to downloading it. It looks like it wasn't even particularly outdated, as it got an update just two months ago. But ah well, plenty of other games to catch my attention...

At least they haven't removed it from our libraries, like the Timberborn demo.
As Dusk Falls, which was removed from sale at the beginning of the month due to (presumably) the Unity vulnerability, has now returned.

The store page for this game got pulled from Steam end of October.

I wonder if there's anything bigger happening here.

EDIT: Dev's website is gone as well.

Hmm, all trailers on YouTube have been pulled from official channels. The game page on the PlayStation Store has also been taken down.

Perhaps I presumed too much about the well-being of the devs...
