Djungelurban: Looking over this list makes me both frustrated and upset. There are a lot of classic and/or excellent games in that list. I mean Deja Vu, Shadowgate, Dragon's Lair, Wings Of Vi, Rex Rocket, Mercenary Kings, Thomas Was Alone and even freaking Braid, the game that's more or less singlehandedly responsible for this indie game revolution we're enjoying these days, they all got rejected? And I'm sure many of these other games are worthwhile as well. There's something very wrong with GOG these days. I'm starting to feel I've bet on the wrong horse. The DRM-free movement is all good and well, but it's not worth much if you block people from participating in it. I went all in on GOG, my collection currently sports 816 games, but I think I've chosen unwisely... Unless something changes my collection may not grow much further than this...
Many of these games you mentioned have DRM-Free versions availble for purchase on the Humble Store. You should check it out.

If with many you mean Braid, then yes, Braid is DRM-Free on the Humble Store.

Braid, Beginner's Guide, Cook Serve Delicious, Dominique Pamplemousse, A Slow Year, McPixel, Proteus, Sword & Sworcery EP, Papo & Yo, Dex, Master Reboot, Antichamber, etc.

Many of the games mentioned in this thread are available DRM-Free on the Humble Store.

I know; I own several of those.
But you were replying to Djungelurban, and not the OP, so it read as you were talking about the particular games he listed in his post.
And anyway, there are many more games with drm in humbleblundle than without. It feels like they don't even try nowadays.
The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle, a very nice adventure detective game was rejected by GOG.

Yes, and so did The Journey Down, as they stated in their recent kickstarter.

Both are episodic, though, and GOG, until very recently with Telltale games and some other prominent games, never accepted uncompleted episodic games. After the kickstarter success of both Bertram Fiddle and The Journey Down, maybe they'll try again (as both games are being finished; Journey Down with three episodes and Bertram Fiddle with two).
Favourited this topic! Please be so kind to add One Finger Death Punch (which is one vote away from its 100th vote on the wishlist).

JKHSawyer: What about Axiom Verge?
What about it? Did GOG reject it?
I forgot to mention Lucius 2, which was turned down. I'd pick it up for completion's sake, and I did enjoy the first one. >:3

It's so broken, though. A shame, really. :|
Poncho also turned down:

And Afterfall: InSanity was rejected some time ago, according to an email from the devs:

Barry_Woodward: Vote for the list so far:
Braid
They Bleed Pixels
I can't imagine why would they reject these brilliants but allow games like Hatoful boyfriend? apparently it's a better game right?
Awesome, another game "too niche" for GOG. Fortunately, it's not too niche for Humble to sell it DRM-free: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/poncho_storefront
Dungeon Lords was rejected by GOG.

Mrstarker: I'd like GOG to reconsider Solarix.

Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSDQj95gO2I

Meanwhile, it's available DRM free on the developer's website.

As the developer states:

BTW, some of you guys asked for non-drm version, I baked it and sent it to some shops, not GOG, though. Apparently, Solarix is not good enough for GOG, they rejected our label's offer.

That Solarix looked like a cool game. Does anyone know why it was rejected by GOG?
