Is there somewhere that GOG lists WHAT updates they've made when a game is marked as having been updated in our libraries? I'm not seeing anything in what seem to me to be the obvious places like the game's details in my library, or the store pages, or the forums for specific games/game series...

I'd rather not redownload or update a game if the only changes they've made are things that won't affect me, like tweaking how a game runs on certain video cards, or adding support for new screen resolutions or something like that.

Note: Please don't just tell me to "Look in GOG Galaxy" or something like that. I do not have internet at home, and cannot use Galaxy because I access the internet via a computer at my local library. I download offline installers for games I've bought to a flash drive and take them home that way. If there is no other way to see what has been updated, that's fine, just say so.

Here's hoping there's an answer I can actually make use of, and thanks in advance. :)

In lieu of official announcements (and the mostly unmaintained state of the Changelog feature, referred to within the second paragraph), GOG community members have accepted the burden of posting details for game updates ('stickied' within this General discussion forum).

Visiting your library, selecting a specific game, followed by activating the [More] drop-down menu, and finally, selecting [Changelog] had typically provided a list of remarkable alterations for each update, but, like so many other features, over time, it had begun to be neglected by GOG.

In truth, the changelog is a feature offered to devs, not maintained by GOG except in cases when the updates are actually made by GOG. That puts the blame squarely in their court for things like the recent updates to Witcher games that have no changelogs, but other than that, it's on the devs.
That said, GOG should obviously put more pressure on devs to maintain changelogs here for their games. And they should also allow viewing the changelog from the game page, not just for owned titles.
Thanks for your answers. I marked the reply about GOGdb as the solution, as it seems that's probably the best I'm going to get without GOG themselves changing their practices. Seems easy to navigate, and makes it easy to find a changelog (when there is one, at least).

That really sucks that they seemingly can't be bothered to let us know what has been updated. It shouldn't matter whether it was the game's devs or GOG themselves who made changes, they should let us know what has changed so we don't have to go into updates blind, or have to install updates that won't actually do anything for us.

Thanks again.
