It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Not sure if it's something to do with GOG really disliking NoScript (I can't even log on without disabling it), or Firefox, or whatnot, but right now my "Account" tab shows 27 game updates.

When I go to the redesigned game library page, there are no notifications next to any of the games.

To be perfectly honest, I don't understand why the old design was scrapped. It showed all the options without additional clicking, it had much better space to information ratio, and frankly it feels like the redesign's sole purpose is to promote GOG Galaxy by making the web site more cumbersome to use...

Anyway, am I missing something, or are the update notifications gone now from the library or something?
Have you checked the "What did just update" thread? It's basically a list of changelogs for various GOG games. I've also noticed the update indicator for my account has been blank for a while, but I know more games have been updated from the thread.

First off, GOG relies heavily on javascript, so you won't be able tu use the site if you don't allow gog.com in NoScript.

Regarding the notifications - there should be an indication next to "My Collection" saying (total_num_games, 27 updated); that has a drop-down menu where you can choose to display only the game's that have updates. The update indicator is a lot more subtle now, just a tiny blue dot in front of each game's title.

If you see neither of these, then send a support ticket.
Do keep in mind, that ever the since the new account system rolled out, the notification system is a lot more borked than it was.
I guess it's not considered as part of one's account, so they didn't bother to make it work with all the changes that were introduced.

Lastly, yes, the redesign was made to accommodate the GOG Galaxy client, even if we're told otherwise.
The pull down is retarded! I can no longer tell at a glance now what game has update! I hate that new change and it's a retarded back step for the change! Please change it back!
Thanks guys, especially Hypersomniac.

Not sure if this is GOG servers stressing out after Witcher 3 came out or whatnot, but today I got the left-side pull-down selection to show only the "Updated" games.

So no immediate notification next to the title, I guess? This sucks major way.

Also, GOG site doesn't even work with NoScript running (even when it's completely white-listed, or "disabled" on GOG site). I toyed around with this, and it seems that you have to allow access to google servers to be able to log into GOG at all. Combined with the way EULA of Galaxy is phrased, I'm starting to really worry about GOG going into "infometrics" business big time. Can't say it makes me happy.

One of the reasons I'm not happy about Galaxy, even though I actually was hoping for increased (optional) functionality for the GOG Downloader. I don't need another company treating my personal life as a product to sell. Anyway /derail rant.

Thanks for the replies, at least now I can archive the most recent versions of my games before Galaxy becomes mandatory. Not overly certain I want to hang around after that.

What you describe about NoScript and Google in relation to GOG is not the norm - I've got everything Google blocked in NoScript and by simply allowing GOG and cookies for GOG and GOG only, I can log in and use the site. Perhaps you should try saving your NoScript settings (just in case), uninstalling it, clear any related entries from your profile (prefs.js file), and reinstall it, and try again.

Regarding the notification - as I said, it's a tiny blue dot in front of the game title, and is quite easy to miss.

There are a few cases were I don't get notifications at all:
- Game added with a special promo code, like the nVidia one for TW3, and codes from Kickstarter campaigns.
- Games that were unbundled, but are still sold as a bundle.

Don't know if any of this applies to you, but if it does, your best bet is to check the "What did just update" thread, where mrkgnao posts detailed update info which he collects through his search engine MaGog.

Again, thank you very much. Not sure what the issue was, but after toying around with several things I can at least login now without problems.

Forum still lacks the box for searching particular game, though, for whatever reason. But now I don't have to disable NoScript to login at all, so success :)

Don't mention it, didn't really do anything.

Can you elaborate on the part I highlighted? Not sure what exactly you're talking about.

On a related note - if you see something off, you can take a look in this thread, you may find an answer.

I guess he's talking about the current inability to search for a specific game forum.

I suspected as much, but perhaps they're referring to the missing nav-bar search function on forum pages.

What Grargar mentioned right below your post, going to Community page I don't get the field where typing specific game's title would show its forums. Thought it was something to do with my browser/add-on issues.

No it's not at your end, GOG disables this forum feature during big events, just like they disable the search box at the top of forum pages (but not at the bottom), presumably due to server(s) strain reasons. Based on past experience, it will return after the summer sale.
Thank you.

Really appreciate the time taken to provide all this information.
