So, games are quit or put on indefinite hold for many reasons. This is to chronicle the times where a game didn't make you ragequit, or leave in disgust. This is for the times where you just couldn't be bothered to continue. I'll give an example.

In Skyward Sword, after struggling though the desert (it has a qucksand mechanic and I mashed though the text telling me that there are safe zones pointed out on your tiny map, due to being a speedreader and thus not having the patience for Fi's molasses text), I just couldn't be bothered to play with the Trial of Light/Silent Realm to "Prove your worth" of holding the Master Sword.

I'm not at a carnival doing tricks to earn a stuffed bear. I'm playing the Hero of Hyrule, the very LEGEND, created by the goddesses specifically to be evil's bane. The only reason the goddesses shouldn't remember their designated hero is if they went on a drunken bender and spilled wine on their sketch.

So there you have it. That is a rant I could keep going on if I'm not stopped. What games could you not be bothered to complete, or keep going in?

Yeah, i know. But that's a narrow range of games from a single year.
Dragon Warrior 3 GBC: In order to access the second bonus dungeon (exclusive to this version) past the first floor, you have to collect monster medals. Each enemy has a medal that it can drop 1/8 of the time, and there are 155 you need to collect to get past the first floor. However, a bit later on, you need the silver medals (not just the bronze), and those are harder to get (though you can trade 2 bronze for 1 silver at that point). I have never been past that point, as a result of this.

(Of course, all of this is in the postgame, and even post-first-bonus dungeon, so I'd already gotten my money's worth out of the game by that point; I'm playing through the Super Famicom version of that game right now, which doesn't have that second bonus dungeon, and doesn't have monster medals either.)
