Well heres a twist: http://frogwares.com/the-sinking-city-is-being-delisted-heres-why/
so exciting
legal battles are way cooler than marvel ones
Its a shame that honesty, integrity, respect and goodwill are forgotten words nowadays and have no meaning in these times.
That's what the whole thread was about dude. They say DRM free in that press release, but it's not DRM free.
Frogwares replied to me that they are investigating and will have an answer soon, for what it's worth.

can we take our tips now?
I checked it out for myself and the "DRM-free" bit comes from how Xsolla Launcher refers to not using any other platforms like Steam and Epic Games as "DRM-free". And indeed, it would have been DRM-free if Frogwares didn't build into the game its ownership check for Xsolla (the check is not something Xsolla automatically applies, so Frogwares had to have purposely added it). So it's all on someone at Frogwares being the left hand and not being aware of what the right hand is doing.

Well it's the Frogwares app the game won't run with, but maybe that's a Xsolla thing? Anyway, if they just remove the authorization check then it'll be good to go. Since they promised DRM free in their press release, I hope they do.
Hmmm browsing some I see claims of DRM free download builds available like on Gamesplanet.

Quoting :

"Bonjour,
Oui absolument. Le jeu est livré sans DRM et à partir de nos serveurs Gamesplanet. Il s'agit d'une nouvelle version mise à jour par le Studio de développement, à l'issue de la période d'exclue avec Epic."

"Hello,
Yes absolutely. The game is delivered DRM-free and from our Gamesplanet servers. This is a new version updated by the Development Studio, at the end of the exclusivity period with Epic."

Thanks for the heads up! I am not a fan of the game, but probably this warning could be useful for my other friends.
Their store provider Xsolla refunded my money today, so that's good.

Frogwares also replied to me on Twitter saying the GamesPlanet version has "no launcher." Whether that means DRM free or not I don't know for sure, and they're not the most trustworthy at the moment, so I'll try and confirm it.

Yes look at the last message of previous page!

By the way, did you use the "support" button on the Frogwares launcher to ask for a refund? Because each time I try do download the game there I have an error message after some GB downloaded, and which to ask for a refund. Thanks!

Yeah I am just nervous about trusting it lol. Gamesplanet responded to me on Twitter that it is DRM free though, so I got it. Downloading now, we'll see.

I did my refund request through Xsolla's support page. I did a chat first and they said they would investigate and email me. A few days later they emailed asking if Frogwares made it right, and I replied no. The next day they emailed me a refund confirmation.

Aah ok you did that directly at Xsolla. Thanks for the answer!
