OldOldGamer: As I've been spoiled by a "moderator" post, I've sent a formal complaint about it.
Not even sure if I used the right channel, but here is a few lines I wrote.

I'd like to highlight a general lack of respect from forum moderators towards the community.
In particular "Linko90".
I expect a moderator to "moderate" the forums from abusing the space and breaking the policies, not having pun of customer's posts, even if they appear nonsensical, from a moderator point of view.
This is an example:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/gogs_10th_anniversary_sale_is_here/post113 Moderator are NOT part of the community. They represent the business, GOG, and they should act accordingly.
I don't know if these are full time employee or else, but this episode of poor professionalism, made me considering if GOG is a relevant place where to spend my money and time.
I'm a moderator of some small chat and feel some pressure to engage in activities, which usually I would not do. That means more communicating, than usual when others are not and present voice when there is none. So, speaking from my experience of moderation - MODERATORS ARE THERE TO HELP YOU AND OTHERS. IMO, spreading false claims classifies as bannable if you are not smartening up and insist on doing it further. Pun from moderator is just a human way of saying, that moderator knows about your claim and watches how you behave. Seriously, how do you discuss conspiracy theory?
I voted for SW2 and I'm happy with what GOG provided for free - they are not obliged to do so. I do not see GOG as mere library, but as a service - provided for free(!), that stores my games and safeguards them in case my HDD crash... If GOG decides to not to do so anymore, I would need to fill my HDD(and backup HDD) with games, I've purchased.
No one should demand respect from anyone in any relationship - it has to be earned. Either there is respect or not and sometimes there isn't... but what can you do about it? Demanding respect is oxymora. @OldOldGamer - if your name reflects your age, you should have know about it already... just relax. Life is stressful, but how is it moderators(or anyone else) fault?
