mrkgnao: GOG's reply:
We are sorry, your wish has 7190 votes. We only implement wishes with less than 100 votes, such as unbundling. Please attempt to reduce the number of votes to an acceptable level.
+1, ironically enough :)
Okay I got several good responses. They lead to more questions: How big was the increase of the number of regionally priced games from yesterday to today? Did any games get new regional prices anywhere else than in Russia? Did prices increase anywhere outside of Russia? Why is the fair price package allegedly just for show if people are actually getting it?
Quick, someone posts that GOG video advertising :P

tfishell: As I've said before, the pricing doesn't bother me personally but for those it does, you might have to make tough decisions for yourselves. No offense, but while I see a lot of complaining, I see little action.
What exactly do you expect to see? I think we all made our decisions what to buy or not to buy or only to buy under certain circumstances. How could you see any of it?

What kind of action do you expect to see? I don't think you're in a position to observe people not buying things unless they happen to post about it.

Yeah I edited that out after a little thought. It's not really something you can see, per se.

132 to 928.
Russia and 10 other ex-Soviet republics.
No.
I live in the US, I pay 2.6 times the Russian price, why don't I get the fair price package for the difference?

Kristian: How big was the increase of the number of regionally priced games from yesterday to today?
According to my two regional pricing lists, 131 regional priced/discounted titles before, 928 after. So almost 800 additions.

The Ukraine and a block of ex-Soviet countries, which are the usual ones that get the Russian Discount.

avatar
Kristian: Did prices increase anywhere outside of Russia?
Apart from the above countries, not to my knowledge. I'm not checking 800 titles by hand, though.

It's only fair if you pay more than the US price. And technically not even then, since you still pay more, you just get a credit in return.

You missed that we have now two base prices with full regional pricing for ex soviet countries implemented. You have an us base price for rest of the world and russia price for ex-soviet countries which is why I said that fair price package is really pointless cause there is no unified base price anymore.

IAmSinistar: Yes, it's come to this. With the Russian Invasion, ... (snip)
Russian invasion? Seriously? That's a bit tasteless from my point of view. :-(
