IAmSinistar: I'm feeling charitable today, so I will add these to the list as well, with the hope that they won't need to be pulled. Thanks again for compiling the titles.
I have a theory that says that on days that GOG releases games that mrkgnao particularly likes, we get flat prices for all or most of the games. Worked for Forgotten Realms - The Archives - Collection Two. Worked for Fallout Tactics. So far so good.

If that's the case, you should broaden your tastes in game to be absolutely indiscriminate. Then we'd get full flat-pricing back.

I like far too many of the games that come here, but have gotten better about putting them on the wishlist instead of the backlog. And I'm actually playing through the backlog, though when I look at the whole thing it gets a bit disheartening again.

blotunga: 1C's "fault", they have somehow convinced everyone that they should sell their games cheaply in russia, otherwise they might not sell anything at all.
I think in a way you're right. Action was taken in a way of preventing even more piracy, I suppose. We all gotta dig deep into this crazy russian/1C deal to know for sure.
But good for russians gamers and for those who managed to "deliver" such prices for 'em.

In Brazil, for instance, video games were -and still are- a matter of great discussion, marred by totally INSANE practices, greed and mismanagement, blended in and powered by a large part of a society who wasn't really interested in games. Unfortunately, I'd say. Sure, we had our glory days, but widespread gaming, I assume, is kinda over.

Completely incoherent and incomPeTent politicians and unaware *well some were pretty aware* consumers helped to conceive this monster of a situation we have nowadays, in terms of price, availability and so on. Almost zero -and when I say that I'm saying the truth- policies regarding industrial and, most of all, technological development were introduced when necessary and this neo-colonial country is falling apart pretty quick.
A once major economy with probably (next to Mexico) the biggest potential on Earth is now's facing a blatant downfall.

And yeah, ask any brazilian in here if they're happy with these GOG prices. Nope, not GOG's fault, for damn sure.
Heck, I'd love to be russian Gogger now (don't kill me non-russians, please). At least they, the russians, not goggers (:P) are able to send crafts into orbit, while (I live here) we're covered in turd juice for, at least, another four more years. The world's gonna climb uphill and, on their way, they'll flush us down.

Sarisio: Maybe I wrote some things a bit offensive, for that I apologize, it wasn't easy to read words in this thread with another spin of crisis in my land.
That's understandable. I think the problem here is that the pricing isn't being lowered in Russia because of the economy, there are places with similar or worse economics that don't get the lower prices, it's being done because GOG and the publishers don't think that Russians would pay full price.

Personally, I've lived on that kind of small budget for a bit and I can't think of anywhere in the world where that's going to be easy. I found myself not spending money on anything. I'd only buy food if I was starving. Thankfully in my case that was a very short period of time, but still.

Games though are a luxury and I have mixed feelings about subsidizing purchases made by Russians because the Russian government doesn't enforce copyright laws. If it were a necessity of life it wouldn't bother me at all, but when it comes to entertainment when I don't really have much money, that kind of chaps my hide a bit.
From MaGog's logs for 17 September:

That would make sense, with GOG being the publisher. Perhaps one day they'll publish everything and we'll be back to flat pricing!

Thanks for the heads-up, updating the list.

Interesting trade-off for the region locking. Thanks, will add.

Heh, are the new betesheda games also flat priced for the RU and similar zones? If so, I'll give bonus points to Betesheda... Their games may be expensive (which I don't understand why...), but at least they are coerent: they are expensive for everybody!

Everywhere (right now). Each game should be 5.99$ at most in my opinion though, especially since many people including me might have bought them several times on different stores before. By now I haven't bought but wishlisted every Bethesda game so far. Let's see when they go for 70% discount.
