You can't say condemn something you never tried.
Let's be fair. There really isn't a 'Refund' option in the support section. And the fact that he mentions it, doesn't mean he didn't contact support using one of the other options.

Yeah, you're right. I'm going to change my past post because it was unfair, but I would still like to know when he contacted support. I'll be the first to admit they aren't A+ in this respect but at least they have support (hello Steam!) and if he sent a ticket in just today that's rushing it by anyone's standards.

meditek: Downloaded 'Riven' but game won't load on Win7x32.

How do I make it work (run as win 95 etc doesn't).

Gog support useless.

Despite claims for money back if it doesn't work there is no obvious link.

Is Gog some sort of scam?

Very disillusioned by the whole negative experience,

meditek
Make sure that you go through the full process with support; raise a ticket and then do everything they ask you to do. Once you've gone through the process, the game will either work, or you'll have your refund.

As GoG is DRM free, I'm sure you'll understand that they can't just give out refunds without some effort going in to fixing the problem - otherwise the system is open to abuse.

Also - make sure you haven't installed it to Program Files.
