Take into account that summer is holiday season and they have a limited staff, which is probably being prioritized to working on their current projects rather than kickstarter rewards.

I have never done one of these backing things before. How reliable are these guys?

I am tempted by the Tormented Bard package. Planescape sequel, BT 1-3 original and remastered, and BT 4.

I am new to Kickstarter too.
Inxile Entertainment is reliable as they have provided Wasteland 2 earlier.
Also there are very few cases where Project host don't complete what they promise but Inxile Entertainment is NOT one of them.

My suggestion is go for it.
