That's a shame. Thanks for the heads up.
I don't really give a damn about twitter. I don't use it or care about it.

Shame for the game, looked fun. Might have bought it in a discount or something.

Now I will never now.

fronzelneekburm: I'm getting downvoted over this, so some serious talk now: I'd like some kind of statement from someone at Polytron. I'd like some conclisive confirmation, that this game is in fact NOT getting pulled over a fairly innocuous tweet gog made on an entirely unrelated game, a tweet that gog has both taken down and apologised for.

Am I reading too much into this? Or are the people at Polytron really THAT incredibly petty?
I think the constant raid on the forums for the past couple of days has demonstrated that plenty of people are that petty.

I am curious for the reason though, I've tweeted them asking.

Wait was the postal thing added after the media/internet fiasco? Cause if that tombstone thing was in the original game in 1999 or whatever the fuck year it was, then that is some fucking bullshit right there.

I'm skeptical that it has to do with that, because of, well, reason. If it does though, then that's kind of stupid. When will that thing whatever it was stop being a circus? People know that there are corporations who pay people a lot of money to make sure that they never have a wrinkle in their shirt while they go about screwing tons of people out of their money or security, safety, on and on.

Remove your games! The show must go on!

Again, I don't think it has to do with that.
Thanks for letting us know Linko, appreciate it.
Good riddance. Noone like this asshole of a dev.

I think we're also collectively tired of hearing about Postal, especially in random unrelated threads.

I wouldn't mind talking about the game play but I seriously doubt that's gonna happen.
Bye. :(

I certainly hope it wasn't because of the tweet. That would be rather pathetic, especially since GOG removed it and apologized (plus it was probably some marketing intern that posted it anyway). If they removed the game because of that... good lord, talk about crazy.

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.
FEZ is one of the very, very few (I think 3, maybe 4) games I quit.
It is just too boring and unappealing for me.

ChrisGamer300: Thank you for informing but i prefer to keep that trash out of my library.

PoppyAppletree: You'd prefer not to get PhilF over your precious games? :P
Got a laugh out of me.

I think it might well be. Phil Fish was a somewhat notable figure involved during the Gamergate controversy. Maybe he saw the backlash and thought ill of GoG's audience or consumerbase, probably thought there were too many "nasty gamergaters" or something along those lines.
That's my speculation at least. I don't know if that is necessarily the reason but I'm willing to stake money on the fact of it having to do with recent events at the very least.
Edit:
For reference, here's some of Phil Fish's notable actions when he either doesn't like someone's opinions, viewpoints, or feels they don't go far enough in attacking people he doesn't like or just flat out calling gamers and his customers garbage:

And here's something exceptionally sketchy from him:

Oh man, I remember watching Indie Game: The movie and thinking "this Phil Fish guy is a bit unstable."
Also:
"Maybe you guys are overdoing it with the sad music in the Braid segment."
"Now thats an ungly cat Mr. Mcmillen."
How far we have come since those days.
