Moon, rewatched. Go see it, NOW.

If I could sum it up in one word:

Solitude.

It's so brilliant, all made using oldschool miniatures and sets; I actually shiver when they are showing the moon surface! God I miss movies like this!

The Dark Knight Rises - Perfect ending for what could be the greatest superhero trilogy ever made. It wasn't quite as jaw-dropping as The Dark Knight (not as tense or memorable)... but it didn't need to be. What it needed to do was provide dramatic and emotional closure to the story arc. And it did all that, as well as providing some great setpieces and surprising twists along the way.
Watched Superman Vs. The Elite yesterday, was a pretty entertaining flick, one of the best ones from DC.
Just saw Formula 51 (although some may know it as The 51st State)starring Samuel L. Jackson. Pretty cool action-comedy with a lot of style, kind of reminds me of Snatch. I rather enjoyed it.

I also re-watched Batman: Mask of the Phantasm again, which is better than the Christopher Nolan movies.

Dogtooth. On Netflix streaming as of this post. First movie I watched in a long time where I didn't pause the movie once.

BEST if you know absolutely nothing about it and read nothing about it, including the description of the movie on Netflix (spoilers etc).
Watched Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels. one of my favourite films. Good laugh with plenty of guns, drugs, gambling and 4 lads who get into a load of trouble.
It was Chocolat, with Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp.

Truly recommend it! link
Watched The Secret World of Arrietty the other night with the family - Liked it - A borrowers type movie.
Just watched Let Me In with my bro. Excellent movie. I haven't seen Let The Right One In, which I hear is better, but even on its own, Let Me In is a must-watch if you're looking for a very good, touching movie.
Meeting Evil

Great to see Sammy Jackson in a decent movie again, its kinda like The Hitcher, so you can guess which character Samuel plays.

The acting is top notch and also, something I dont pay much attention to in movies, the lighting, was very well done, from the bleak wide open landscapes, to more intimate indoor settings.

Mr average real estate salesman just got canned, gets picked up by a total stranger in a souped up GTO and the movie continues with never a dull moment until the "twist" ending.

One of the best movies I've seen this year.

What is it with Hollywood recently making American versions of Swedish movies which themselves were based on books? Let Me In... Girl With The Dragon Tattoo... Well, that's it actually, but still. ;)
Been rewatching my favourites recently.
Withnail & I, Pulp Fiction and Natural Born Killers.
Absolutely brilliant.
willow is a great one. also: underworld, matrix, and lord of the rings. all time favs.
This movie is awesome, but apparently, I'm the only person in the world who's seen it :(

Just watched Kung Fu Dunk on Netflix. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Shaolin Soccer, though Dunk isn't quite as good.
