OOooh ooh! Here's mine:
Favorite Films:
Edge of Darkness - About a cop who gets involved in a conspiracy surrounding the death of his daughter. Stars Mel Gibson
Paranormal Activity
Grindhouse - Death Proof
Wolf Creek - Austrialian horror film involving backpackers and a reclusive serial killer.
Tell No One - French film about a conspiracy revolving around a missing wife.
Man From Earth - Low budget film about a discussion with an old man - very cool idea.
Hush - British film about a group that kidnaps women.
Donnie Darko
Ghost Dog
The Matrix
Titan AE
Remember Me
Last One I Saw:
Stolen Lives - about a guy who's kid get's killed. Pretty slow moving. It's... err... "quite a relaxing film" - take what you will from that.
Recommendation:
Tell No One - because not many people seem to have seen it, but it's a really polished action thriller. It's a bit like a French version of the 2008 film, Taken.
My vote for best film 2010 = Inception.
If you haven't seen it, stop reading this and go watch it at your local cinema.

It Might Get Loud 2009
I just watched Four Minutes (Vier Minuten). Minus a few nitpicks, it's a terrific film. Go get it. The grand finale blew my mind.
Watched Inception yesterday and it's bloody brilliant. One of the very few movies that I could watch a couple of times in a row and not get bored.
Most definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen.
Also watched Kick-Ass - great movie, really entertaining in a sadistic, surreal kind of way :D
just watched American Psycho. Very good movie! Very sarcastic, very different. very everything.
Checked out Salo or 120 days of Sodom...........
It is one of those films that can never be unwatched, very...... disturbing.
I tried watching Predators... but ended up turning it off about halfway through just because.. Might try and rewatch it later, but meh... will not be a classic in my mind.
Just picked up Solomon Kane, and the Road...... hmmm... if the Road is as sad as you guys make it sound ill make sure I get some kleenex.

Heh, don't worry about the Road, I'm just a major crybaby :P Yeah but seriously, the thing is that, in a way, it reflected some of the stuff I had been through in my not-so-distant past when I saw it so it had a big effect on me. So unless you have some issues you'll be fine without the kleenex :)
I watched a few movies a while back on Hulu and 1 I think is worth watching is an Australian made movie called Alexandra's Project. It takes the psychlogical thriller to a new level. Any male that has had woman troubles would relate to this movie. Might not be a good flick to watch if you are easily freaked out. It'll mess with your mind for awhile. This movie has vague similarities to one of my favorite films of all time (not found on Hulu however). A Canadian made movie called Cube. It is a freaky horror ride for sure. Both of those films are very unique and may not be for everyone, but if you are wanting something different, there you go.
Well now the last movie I saw was Inception. I consider it to be one of the greatest films I've ever seen.
Steer the fuck clear of "Paranormal Activity", unless you are watching it with a group of people, some of which must be gullible or high.

Yep.........
my boss watched it back when it first had came out claiming how effing scary it was..... as I watched it i just had to laugh and the next day I had to ask my boss if he was on drugs when he saw it (and if he was on drugs why wasnt he sharing...)

Oh great.... looks like there is a second one coming out...
well I finally watched Inception . This isn't a glowing recommendation for the film, but I'm talking about it in here since it's been mentioned a lot. Anyways,I dunno... I thought it was a good movie but I don't love it as much as everybody else does. I enjoyed it up until the when they got to the snowy part, and by then I was getting kind of bored and wishing they would just finish their mission already. At that point I never had the feeling they weren't going to achieve the inception, so I wasn't on the edge of my seat or anything.
I think I've concluded that I'm just not a big fan of Christpher Nolan films besides Memento. There seems to be a pattern where I eventually get bored while watching his movies( Batman Begins, the sequel, The Prestige and now this)
I watched Inception as well and I must say that I was impressed, although I didn't love it like so many people seem to do. I think that something similar to the Avatar-phenomenon happened, you know, with the enormous amount of hype and all and then everybody just praises the movie and tells how much they loved it. I think it's needless to say that it deserves the praise much more than Avatar does, but although I do think it's the best movie of 2010 so far it didn't really amaze me at any point unlike the very best movies I've seen. So what should I say as a conclusion? Although I wasn't awe-struck or stunned by its awesomeness, it's a really good movie. If you haven't seen it already, then go check it ASAP, it's definitely worth the time and the money.
