So how do i begin, im new to GoG but i hear good things about it, however i havent found "Fable the lost chapters"

a classic that i loved, i bought the steam version and it refused to work since windows 10 seems to be the cause of the

trouble and ive also read that it isnt very reliable on steam anyway..

i guess i would see this topic as a request, since that is basicly what im asking..

would it be possible to fix the windows 10 issue on fable the lost chapters? i would be very happy if it became avalible

i cant find a physical copy of the game anymore, i cant use the steam version, and ive been browsing forums for weeks

trying to find a solution with no luck.

it may not become a reality but i thank you for your time anyway.

Can't you use an old PC or Laptop?

They'll point you in the direction of the wishlist request forum but I can't see a GOG release being more stable on Win10 than the Steam version anyway.

I'm not 100% if you have this game or not but if you do, it might be helpful to mention what specific problem you're having with it so we can at least try and help you.

GoG has been looking for someone for quite a while now to try reverse engineering these games to try and get them to work on Windows 10. I believe the position is still not filled:

One of the managers even came onto the forums to point out that they're looking for someone a few months ago.
I'm pretty sure Fables quit. :P

Maybe he's looking for those Lost Chapters? Considering they've been lost since 2005, I would think it's been long enough for someone to go and find them.

BTW, do you ever check your PMs? :P
Doubt they would want this one being released, the anniversary would be the one they release if anything, but it's m$ owned is it not, they don't have anything here, and have the windows store, so really wouldn't expect this anytime soon.

Just signed on. Been a busy day.

Sorry you're having trouble. Unfortunately I wouldn't expect the game anytime soon here on GOG; it won't show up until Microsoft is a publisher here, and nobody on the forum has any clue when that could happen. You can be sure GOG would love to sell it, but they need legal permission and that is pretty complex at times.

I assume you tried any fixes that were suggested on the Steam forums. You may want or need to research emulating older versions of Windows, or buy a used older Windows machine to play it on (XP or Vista, perhaps?).

I hope they don't sell that fish-eyed monstrosity here. The characters look like they're about to shed their skin and become Deep Ones. Would much rather have the original.
Thank you all for the time and answers, i did some digging myself into a "copy" of the game since i did a steam refund..

turns out that the biggest "malfunction" that denys me access to the game is between the intro cutscene to menu interface

transition, seems like the cutscenes and the game engines capability to move or skip forward that is a big issue, i dont

what they did in the anniversary edition to prevent this but i assume it was some type of maintinance update..

again, thanks for time and answers, cant say that my english is great or that im good with forums.
