timppu: Me neither! Maybe because I haven't got a faintest idea what (game?) it is.

Link? Judging by your message, it is some new game from the mighty Electonic Arts? New or old? AAA? DD?

EDIT: Ok, Lashiec's message above clarified quite a bit. Be careful with the abbreviations and acronyms. Not all of us are well versed with some Steam-specific abbreviations. TC = Trading Cards? A = Achievements, AAA = triple achievements?

micktiegs_8: I'm not well versed either; I actually read that abbreviation around here quite a bit and it didn't dawn on me for some time lol. Of course, the first time I use it I end up being the one who gets picked on for it :3
it is better to use the term Alpha (as in "Escapist coming to gOg, out of Alpha on Feb 13"). Early Access is what Valve for some reason calls Alpha founding. (not sure why... trying to be hip?.... hate it when marketing people think it is a good idea to call something something else because sales)
Wait, I'm confused.

"Out of E(arly) A(ccess) on Feb 13"
" out of Alpha on February 13".

Which one is it? Is the date for the full release Feb 13? Thus skipping beta phase? Or does it go into beta on Feb 13? Wouldn't it still be on Early Access, if it's beta? My brain hurts. Highly interested in the game, btw.

Maybe go figure it out. If you're highly interested then surely it won't be too hard.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought this was the thread where these things were discussed.
Nice to see it's coming to GOG.

Hope we will get the developer's first game Spud's Quest as well.

micktiegs_8: You're implying I've connected the two games developer wise; however, the only connection I've stated is the fact that I didn't expect Escapists to come to GOG, just as I didn't expect Sunless Sea to come here.
Playful ribbing (from myself and Elmofongo) aside, your initial thread was confusing because (a) you didn't state what The Escapists was (and +1 to Lashiec for posting the link to the game), and (b) you used a term that's commonly used to mean one thing (EA = Electronic Arts), when you intended to mean something else (EA = Steam Early Access).

There's no need to get snarky with us.

Lashiec: Would be nice if, in addition to The Escapists, GOG would release Chris Davis' previous game, Spud's Quest, which is a sweet little Dizzy clone.

We know it was submitted ages ago, so I suppose GOG declined.

That's too bad. I played Spud's Quest recently and thought it was quite good and it's a game that would fit right in on GOG.
