Sabin_Stargem: I would welcome any and all games on GOG - be it mobile, emulated, or eroge. Here's hoping that Grisaia, Huniepop, Tsukihime, Phoenix Wright, Corpse Party, and many others make their way here.
I rather not see mobile thingamabob's on GOG but if game is DRM-free and for PC (Win, Mac and Linux), emulated or otherwise, I see no reason for GOG not to add it (within reason),. If we use CD Project RED's own Witcher series as standard then anything goes as far as sex and violence is concerned and we already have POS like Master or Orion 3 so it's not like GOG only accepts good or classic games.

LoboBlanco: Since we are discussing pantsu games on GOG, I feel obliged to postulate something for the movies section, wihtout further ado.

_.-// THIS MUST COME TO GOG \\-._
Of all the tens or hundreds of thousands of manga and anime, they decided it's good idea to adabt Hentai Kamen into live action movie? Then again, we're talking about Japan here so...

I am not fond of mobile games, nor do I use a cell phone with any regularity. That doesn't change the fact that for many people, they rely upon their phones for a myriad number of things - including games, movies, and music. The emancipation of culture requires allowing all members of society being able to freely access content once they purchase it.

Making exceptions to that would set a very dangerous precedent, as it segregates members of society according to the form of their content.
I'm always looking forward to the moment GOG starts to sell erotic video games.
Especially the akwardly low res ones from the early nineties, I really want to look at "them pixel boobs" on my 48" inch HD resolution screen.

But anyway,
I never understood why people prefer violence over sex in video games,
even in real life I prefer getting a blow job rather than being beaten up or shot at,
so why shouldn't our games be the same way?
Why? I don't get it.

But maybe I'm the fetishist here so enjoy your daily dose of violence...

Most people would object to getting beaten or shot. :P
Maybe 90% of the planet is secretly as kinky as I am, and are just too afraid to admit it. Violence can be quite sexy after all.

Because games are about conflict and challenge. Being shot at and surviving (and shooting back) is a challenge - it involves tactics and twitch skills. Getting a blowjob - well the challenge could be to convince the girl (or boy, should you be so inclined) to give to the blowjob in the first place - and is what many of the eroge games are actually about (like dating simulators). The blowjob could a reward (like an awesome cutscene or an amazing plot revelation), but as "gameplay" I guess it's rather hard to make it worthwhile.
There are of course "sex simulator" games, that try to turn sex into gameplay (like i.e. HomeMate from Illusion) where you have to "please the girl" to get more - well sex options. But those games are ultimately (as games) utterly boring and give the word "grinding" a double meaning.

On topic: I'm on the fence on this one. On the one hand there is no DRM-free digital store selling (uncut) erotic or outright pornographic games. So if GOG would start to offer those titles I kind of would be glad. There's certainly an audience for these type of games (and some even are pretty good in terms of storytelling and art - think i.e. Divi Dead). And - depending on the titles - I would count myself among this audience. I think most of the people know these games only from pirate copies since they were pretty hard to come by, and would gladly open their wallets to make them legitimate.
On the other hand I can't see how they would really fit GOG's profile. Maybe classics like Knights of Xentar would nicely suit the "Good Old Games" approach that still lives here. Some of the more artsy visual novels (like Saya no Uta) would go well with the Indie-Boutique approach we've lately seen. But the majority of these games - while certainly sellable - do not really fit GOGs current profile: Classics, best of indie and AAA (if GOG can get the latter at all).

Yet most people don't mind doing that all day in a video game.
Now talking about sex, most people enjoy that in real life (I suppose) but in video games people start immediately feel disturbed or repulsed by it.

That's sick, in my most humble opinion.

Violence and Sex is a very interesting concoction though. Primal psychological triggers and stuff.
Most limited people don't get it sadly and then they start playing the "potential, no actually most likely future, mabye eventually rapist" card.
Sad, but not everyone is that kinky or tolerant...

Only takes a few minutes on fetlife to find incredibly hot pictures of people covered in bruises, scoured with barbed wire, covered in their own blood, or otherwise violently restrained. Somewhere I have a photo of a woman sewn in as the back bone of a harp, full compliment of strings and all.

True, which is one of the problems with SSC. Personally I don't need a handy mnemonic to remember not to rape people, but I guess if people do they should use RACK.

JMich: Do take a look at the Terms of Use, specifically the following GOG is already a service targeted at adults, even if they don't have any actual checks. Though I think a few games were unavailable for sale to people under 18, though I'll have to dig a bit in the forums to find the relevant thread.
Well, I don't exactly recall being carded when I bought Witcher 1 & 2, but I'm pretty sure I already entered my DOB anyway when I signed up...
