Oh, I wasn't expecting a quick response! Thank you! While I was gone, I spotted the actual dev in another forum and I asked him the same question directly. I was about to come back here to delete my post, but you had already answered my question! xD
I appreciate your reply. :) If the actual dev answers my question, I will let everyone here know too.
Update: The dev confirms that dotAGE should work fine in W7. :)

Time to improve this thread a bit. Some major contributions have been self-deleted, some links dead, and the rest are half-sprawled across multiple pages. So here's a new spreadsheet that combines all contributions from this thread into one, alphabetically:-
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SQRBTM4zbzl0Zf1_Tpo2dTd1zlQzL3FAOiINUV_8ksY
I'll edit my post #5 to perma-link to it so it's almost at the top of page 1. I use Google Sheets for several reasons 1. Collaboration, 2. You can download / print a copy for offline usage, 3. It's not at the mercy of GOG threads being closed / archived or limited by forum post character limits. I'll try and keep it updated but it might be monthly rather than weekly. Since the main problem with these kinds of community lists is that they tend to "fizzle" if all the workload is dumped on just one person, if any W7 using trustworthy (ie non-spammer) regular here wants to be added as a co-author (Google / Gmail account required just to login to Google Sheets, but it's never shared or publicly visible), let me know and I'll happily let you edit the list directly.
Also, 4 games tested:-
+ Gylt works under W7 but requires the -dx11 switch. Version tested : 1.1.1.5
+ The Spirit And The Mouse works under W7. Version tested : 1.32d3
- The Invincible does not work under W7.
- Lempo does not work under W7.

"C:\GOG Games\GYLT\Gylt\Binaries\Win64\Gylt-Win64-Shipping.exe" -dx11
Then use that link (not a Galaxy supplied one or the .exe directly), does it run then? It's basically the same fix as Myst (2021).

Thank you. That's much easier than I thought. Will try it and look forward to finally play that game. :)

Despite the DX12 needed "Spacebase Startopia", works fine on Win7.

I would suggest adding a few extra columns, like what version was used in the test, when was it reported to have been tested and a column for the last known version to still work with Windows 7, as more and more games are now receiving patches that end up breaking previously existing older OS compatibility from them.
