Think this is proof enough that GOG (among others) first slowly but steadily removed those that wouldn't easily cater to this nonsense, and then get in bed with Epic/10c and the rest of CCP's tentacles..

The depressing thing here is that it's actually true and frightening how they bully western companies, but it's even worse when corrupt companies/people let them.

I was going to buy at least Wolfenstein II, but not now.

The thing is, Ch*na, Xinnie the Pooh, and chi**s would do their utmost to suppress that. They'd DDoS the website hosting the game, they'd threaten and strongarm payment processors, and they'd order their bitches (ones like GOG/CDP) to do their bidding.

Right now the only option for devs is to publish an official torrent with the game, digitally sign it so it can be verified, and set up a crypto wallet anyone can donate to. They should jump on the wave of good will and outrage, and rack money, because that's the only way Ch*na won't see a single... well, a single unit of whatever worthless currency they use there.

I had no idea of this. I buy a lot on GOG. That's over. To bad really. Corpos have no ideals.

They couldn't care less. HATRED has 5000 votes was offered multiple times and they still refuse to release it.
Their staff is a bunch of woke people that can't cope with certain games cause it triggers them. Just look at how long it took for grimoire to release here because they didn't like the dev.

I’ve heard of rats fleeing a sinking ship, but I expect nothing less of the CCP to come on board! I expect CCP, or should I say Tencent to come in and buy your rotting corpse, now your dealings with Epic make sense.
