I tried GOG connect and followed all the instructions, set my account and game list to public. But it says that none of the games I have are available even though one of them( Witcher 3) is compatible?

It only works for certain games, and The Witcher 3 is not on GOG Connect right now.

The current allowable games to be connected can be found here: https://www.gog.com/connect

If you are indeed set up properly and the games shown there say unavailable it is because you do not own them on Steam, or already have them on GOG.

Is there some other offer for TW3 that I'm not seeing? I don't see the The Witcher 3 is currently offered through Connect:

https://www.gog.com/connect

Either way, it typically takes a while for the Connect-ion to, um, connect. Sometimes a few hours, though we're read of cases where it might take a few days' time.

I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream is on the "unavailable" list. Does it mean that its unavailable for GOG connect, or it doesn't read library? I have that game on steam.

My mistake. I thought that as long as a game was available on GOG that I have on my Steam library it would connect

Thanks for all the replies.

When you look at the connect page on the right hand side under where it shows "CONNECT YOUR ACCOUNTS" does it actually show your steam account next to your GOG account with the little chain linked together?

Yeah, both are linked.

It's not quite that thorough. They have periodic offers - often around big sales like this one, or with certain additions to the catalog - where a small handful of games will be offered on Connect for a limited period of time. Basically comes down to the publisher deciding to do this and then gOg making it happen. Steam isn't really involved, except in that gOg takes a peek at your public profile to verify that you have the title in that library.

There is usually a forum announcement, and maybe a News post when this happens.

Good luck with future Connect offers. Pretty cool thing that gOg and the publishers do for the customers.
So if both are linked, and you do indeed have I Have No Mouth on steam, it should actually be allowed to be connected to GOG. Make sure you do not already own it I guess on GOG I guess?

If you do own it, it will still be listed as unavailable, but show a green box around "OWNED" on the bottom right corner of the game. If it is not registering, it will show a red box around an X in that same spot. What do you see?

I know, I really appreciate the effort GOG does for its customers( DRM free too!!). I was already kicking myself for not joining earlier. Thanks for all the help.
