Face the darkness in Moros Protocol, a pixel-painted sci-fi FPS roguelite – coming soon on GOG!

Set in a haunting, low-poly world with crunchy pixel textures, this game blends fast-paced combat of classic '90s and early 2000s FPS games, the unpredictability of genre-defining roguelites, and the challenge of Souls-like boss fights. Battle relentless enemies and towering nightmares in a brutal test of skill and willpower. With procedurally generated levels, evolving threats, and intense action, survival is never guaranteed.

Wishlist it now!
Glad to have it confirmed, thanks Pixel Reign, Super Rare Originals & GoG.

Heh, read it first as "Morons" Protocol! O.o :D

GOG.com: low-poly world with crunchy pixel textures,
roguelite
Souls-like boss fights
Hmmm... let's see... should we make something nice to look at, with a unique art style, memorable setting, interesting story and well designed levels?

Nah, let's just throw all the most cliched indie game tags at the wall and turn out some procedurally generated generic slop.
Looks like very pixely System Shock 2.
Wishlisted.

So did I.

GOG.com: Coming soon: Moros Protocol
That's a weird way of spelling Mars.
"Crunchy" is a bit overt. This is more crunch than Chex Quest textures had.
Finally a new fps, that doesn't need godly reflexes.
For some reason, I like the art style with all this color dithering. Yes it looks 'crunchy', but not so bad to choke on.
However, the prospect of 'souls-like' combat is pretty off-putting.

Great! On the wishlist it goes.
Edit: it's okay now

Do you want to explain a bit?

I'll try:
The level are randomly generated in which rooms are connected with corridors, like e.g. in Ziggurat. Between levels you decide in this diagram - see last screenshot on the game page - where to go next. Both things put me off. There are barrier that damage you when you destroy them and behind some of them are secrets. Health pickups fill a meter that when full can be used to replenish your health but not to the max. And that health pickups are rather dropped seldom.
You start your first runs only with a sword and have to find guns in the levels but you can unlock guns in the upgrade tree later. You seem to only be able to carry three weapons at once.
