A 2D isometric adventure game set in the distant future and a post-apocalyptic landscape. BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION from THE BROTHERHOOD studio is coming soon on GOG.COM.

Solve puzzles, meet new friends and make powerful enemies, and most importantly, mediate conflicts and fight for your life as you unravel the secrets of the world around you.
Backed this on Kickstarter. It looks... well, beautiful. Looking forward to it.
2D isometric
You can just say "isometric". Unless you were referring to the screen being flat, adding "2D" is entirely nonsensical when we're talking about a method of rendering three-dimensional scenes.

fuzelogic: Been following this for long, feels like if Fallout + Numenera + Disco Elysium + Death Stranding all colliding into one single tittle.

Wishlisted.
Except that Numenera was a total boring game, this seems to be waaaayyy better.
What is the point of putting so much effort into those graphics just to ruin it all with chromatic aberration ? Only the center of screen is sharp, everything else is blurry.
Though it looks promising, and I'm glad that they are releasing on GOG at the same time as steam, a few things bug me enough to probably give it a pass.

I really dislike it when your character is sooooo tiny you can barely see it!
It seems to include a lot of cutscenes..
I can take or leave the FF style tactical battles. Not huge bother though.
Looks great. Wishlisted.
Man, if it's as good as Cayne or Stasis then I'm IN. These guys kick ass when it comes to adventure games.
I haven't bought Stasis (not a fan of horror in general), but I'm looking forward to this - an easy addition to the Wishlist.

Not only is Chris Bischoff one of the best PC graphics artists around, but the game looks truly bizarre, unique and heartfelt - pretty much the opposite of the design-by-committee standard fare.

Just hoped they would go easier with the chromatic aberration, but I'd have to look at this in action to be sure.

Thanks for the very kind words!

You can turn off all effects in the game. These screenshots were at 4k, so perhaps they over emphasize the CA, but it is barely visible in motion :)

You can zoom in and out, we don' t force any zoom level so you can get closer or see more of the scene if you so wish! :)

If anybody has non-spoilerish/top secret questions, I am happy to answer!

Not kind enough, I'd wager.

I've been reading your design/life discussions on other forums and find myself agreeing with your design philosophy and impressed by the quality of the work you output under non-ideal circumstances.

Thank you for taking a risk on your games. I hope they get the positive reception they deserve.

As for the CA, I thought as much - surely seeing it in action is quite different than on a screenshot.

Hey there.

$20 for the Game sans extra goodies (soundtrack etc).
We have some cool launch stuff with GOG that we are ironing out, so tentatively yes!

Ooh, that sounds very nice :)
Can you tell how long the game will be, more or less?

As a Stasis and Cayne fan I can only be happy with this new game that I didn't know anything about until now. And I must say that you have managed to be very original while maintaining your recognizable style.

Since the new game will support the achievements with GOG Galaxy, I was wondering if there is the possibility that you could add them to your two previous games, it would be the perfect excuse to replay them while waiting for the new one. Thanks in any case!
