But yes certainly not the same number.
Probably GoG expecting them not to sell as well, guess they don't know how especially women really dig the Yaoi stuff.
(From what I heard anyways, it's not my cup of tea so I don't follow much)

Darvond: Yeah, that one is disqualified on the name alone. They need to embrace it, not disgrace it. Trap is a terrible term, outdated, and bluntly put, unfriendly.
Well
its a pretty common used word in anime or in the anime fandom or at least used to be
Not sure if it has changed recently

Honestly its the first time ive heard somone say the trap word has a negative vibe or something
yes im aware the term sometimes are used to describe a funny situation but thats more for comedic effect more so than any negative connection

Annyway not going further down that rabbit hole
im glad the rance games are here
maybe i can dream of Eushully and type moon as well

It's quite literally, "Gotcha/fooled ya, made ya question your sexuality because you thought a guy was a girl."
Literally akin to a mousetrap being hidden under a tin of pralines.

The anime i have seen have the protaginist not question his or hers sexuality nor does it questions anyone else sexualty either
sometimes circumstances require the main character to dress as a girl or guy or you have simple body switch
or simmilar happenings it does not mean the character is uncertian on his or her,s sexualty or making the wievers question theirs
so your argument is a rather limited one and exludes loads of anime

From the top of my head
I My Me! Strawberry Eggs
and Ranma ½ doesnt suggest your claims as i recall

Besides
Somone mistaken or confusion of a gender they are trying to woo is not the same as being uncertian of somones sexual orentiation or uncertian of wich gender they are atracted too
it just means they screwed up

Says Rance available on the main banner shuffling in front of the gog site but still says soon when i check the game page.
Just wonder how much the games will cost in euro with 20% off.
edit: suddenly the banner is gone

I'm pretty sure "trap" is short for "gay trap". It doesn't need to make someone question their sexuality at all, but the term itself does infer that the person trapped is gay (or straight) even though that is rarely the case. Darvond likely finds it unfriendly because it calls someone not gay gay, and in our culture calling someone/something not gay gay is often used as an insult. That's not how this term is used however, as far as I am aware.

Huh that's weird, maybe they're supposed to release later today, and the banner was a slip up
Well, the Rance games were supposed to release today. Not sure what happened.
Wait, what about the other stores that were supposed to get Rance today as well? FAKKU, Kagura Games, etc? if the games aren't available there either I can only assume something happened, maybe there was a problem with the build or something

Uihh hopefully that doesn't take long to solve, whatever it is.

Well Kagura at least has a price 23.99€ with discount.(For the first).

I also noticed on kagura all Rance available games are discounted 23.99 except rance quest is 30.39 eu.
Hope they don't make the price any higher here.
Also the forum showed up when the banner on the front page was up and then gone the banner, the forum page for Rance still exists

Well, Kagura and JAST both have the Rance titles. Hopefully Gog didn't get cold feet.

Thats only one
interpretation
it can also mean somone getting fooled or mistaking a gender due to the charcter either beeing femine or being manly

One cant claim the person is gay just because sommone mistaken a dude for a girl in a bar somewhere beacuse their
mental state got reduced due to large intakes of alchohol for example
thats just a riddiculus claim

or claiming that somone is gay because they mistakenly got atracted to a an male actor dressed as a Girl not knowing the person was a male in the first place

Or claiming that the some of the nazis was sectertly gay because they got fooled sometimes beeing wooed by men that fled/escaped in women clothes
or the sectret police was beeing gay because they got fooled by gay people that dressed up as girls to hide they were gay from the nazi regime to mentiom a few examples

or claiming the male audience is gay if they praise the effort of a male actor acting a woman part in a a theater peice
after discovering the fact the actor was indeed male and not a woman as they were led to belive
