Mercedes World Racing when? I adored that game so much, but I doubt Mercedes will ever re-issue license for all the cars. I still remember the graphics and full 3D car cockpits that looked so amazing when riving through tunnels as each light cast a shadow on the cockpit interior. Also the music was so awesome and as old that one was, I still remember how good it looked. And what I loved the most about it was the car handling. Cars actually felt like cars and not this weird stiff weird nonsense all the "simulators" have where cars don't feel like they are at correct speed and in corners they all behave weird. Not in World Racing 1. I only tried the demo of the second one, but I wasn't pulled into it as much as for the first one. Maybe I'll try it again if price is right...

rejzor: Mercedes[-Benz] World Racing when?
I just went through my DVD installs:
I can confirm, that the original "World Racing" (a.k.a.: "Mercedes-Benz World Racing") runs flawless under Win10.
So, if you still have the CD-ROM/DVD version at home...

Excellent release.

Dear GOG, is it possible to get Xtreme Rally series from your fellow country (Polish) studio Techland into GOG library as well?

There are some racing games, that could be in the library, since they don't have licensed cars. I remember at least the following:
- Split/Second: Velocity
- Big Red Racing,
- Autobahn Raser/London/USA Racer series
- Midnight Club (2?)
- Crazy Cars series

Thank you in advance.
Noticed they added a discount to the game now.
It's 6.99 eu here with discount until the 5th december

tremere110: Ah yes, the re-release where all the licensed cars were heavily edited or removed.

SargonAelther: I wish more games did this or stopped licensing cars in the first place. That's what always kills these games in the end. If you cannot get an indefinite license, don't bother.
It does make me wonder about the deal CDPR made with Porsche, Will Johnny's 911 get replaced with a looky-likey Torche 119 at some point?
is this game good? :D
Interesting addition to GOG's catalogue of car racing and simulation games. I hope to come back here (some other day) to see other titles that were part of this catalogue and aren't available to the public today. Personally I like the first game better :P but... it's appreciated. Thanks, GOG!

Sega had to alter the Ferrari Testarossa in the Classic Outrun games to continue selling them so most likely depending on the deal they made.

The 3D Outrun are currently de-listed due to vehicle copyright which is a shame as they are really fun driving games.

I honestly had no idea Cyberpunk had any licensed cars at all. I think music-wise they use all bespoke songs too.

It'll be replaced with 911 cases of borscht.
It looks tasty enough, and the price is right, so insta-bought.
Does it have career mode a la Gran Turismo?

Good? No, it's the best! /kummeli_joke

VanishedOne: For some reason this is tagged 'Beat 'em up'.
Well, if you hit the walls and barriers as much as I do playing racing games, it certainly applies.

Its just the 1 car

Its very odd specially when you look at 2020's list of copycat corporations such EMB, Microtech, Nissan Ford, Toyo-Chevrolet, VMW (though they did write BMW in chromebook 2) and MacLaren/Jaguar

Odd, but it does kind a weave the fictional world into a "possible" future
