Welcome to the future of space warfare – STAR FLEET II - Krellan Commander Version 2.0 is available on GOG!

Originally released in 1989 (published by Interstel Corporation and distributed by Electronic Arts), this absolute classic is a complex and detailed space war simulation. Starting with just a single Krellan battlecruiser, as you rise in the game's seven ranks (each rank has five missions), you'll gain more complexity, such as escorts, planetary invasions, and eventually full sector command.

Now, the Version 2.0 is a severely updated and enhanced version of the original game. It allows you to enjoy all the gaming goodness of the 1989’s release but with a wide variety of improvements, quality of life enhancements, and additions!

Check it out and enjoy a true classic!

pkv-marmoset: Amazing release, many thanks to the developer and GOG for continuing to preserve and support these gems!

Are there plans to re-release Star Fleet I as well???
We have an updated version of Star Fleet I called Star Fleet Deluxe (same game play, but in Windows graphics, with mouse and sound board support with new features like planets, colonies, and other ship types). Hope we can bring it to GOG in 2024.

Veloxi: This is the old one, FYI, for 1.0.

I've just sent along the three new PDFs for 2.0 and they should be manually added to the download pages soon. Honestly not sure why I can't do it myself but whuddyagonnado?

Again, the three new PDFs for 2.0 are in the docs folder of your install folder, don't forget.
Pretty sure this falls into the category of "this is why we cant have nice things"; not you, but some publishers and developers misused the self posting options a long time ago. Thus gog staff like to be helpful as go between.

Oh I had no idea. That's sad.
Hey we've updated to 2.01 and added 1.5b as requested. I added patch notes but they're not loading for me in Galaxy. Can anyone else see them?

Thank you

I don't own the game, but I checked on GogDb (https://www.gogdb.org/product/1187946593#changelog) and your patch notes are not listed there, which means that they are not currently visible via the GOG API (i.e. not normally visible to anyone).

P.S. GogDb updates its database every few hours (or less) --- the last update time (GMT) is listed under "Last updated" on pretty much every page.

That is so weird, I added the text to the changelog and I can see it in the devportal. I must be doing something wrong. Thank you.
So, apparently, patch notes need to be released on GOG's end, so once I upload them, I have to email GOG and ask them to publish them.
In addition you could open up a thread over on the Star Fleet II-specific subforum and post the patch notes in there.

its so you don't say a bad word like Fuck or Nigga in the notes

i mean you can say them in the forums because we are all just kids but if you put them in the notes then its "officially" saying them... Gog needs to work on their communication skills if they havn't already told you this stuff but welcome to the club

p.s, nice work on getting this out there ;)

Thanks to some new DOSBox settings, we also got some help making it snappier, so now is a great time to dive in. :)
