I thought the same thing :)

But given that there are rumors it might uses Denuvo I wouldn't hold my breath (not that I had any hope of it being released on Gog on day 1 anyway). At this point I would be happy of simply having DS2 finally released here.

Extremely unlikely imo. Just GOG taking an opportunity to market, which I can't really blame them for.

To be honest: I wouldn't buy it anyway.
I already own the original, and according to a review I have read, it's not really necessary for owners of the original to buy the remake.
It's a good deal for people who never played the original but are intrigued...they get now a nicer looking, in some aspects bettered game, to finally board the USG Ishimura.

That or Dead Space 2 at least (don't care much for the third one).
Doesn't EA still have a sort-of exclusive contract with the other platform, though?

Could also mean that The Callisto Protocol is inbound for a DRM-free release.
Reportedly/allegedly it's been a bit of a financial blunder making the developer/publisher maybe possibly warm up to the idea of releasing it on GoG as well, to at least recoup some of the losses.

I was wondering why the sale was called "games similar to Dead Space", because it could just as well be titled "games similar to <any other of the games on the list, because they're all similar>".
I didn't know there was a remake in the works, so I guess it makes sense now :p

I think gog is referring to Dead Space because of the recent remaster, still weird to name drop a game and not include it in the sale.
