It’s this time of the year – Warhammer Skulls 2025 is here! For the Emperor!

This time around, we bring a variety of awesome news. So sit back, relax, and see what we prepared!

Apart from all the discounts you can expect on the Warhammer catalog, we decided to do something close to our hearts. The GOG Preservation Program expands once more!
Five Warhammer classics we’ve co-published, and that you won’t find anywhere else, are now preserved in their best form:
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate
Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000
Warhammer 40,000: Rites of War
Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat
Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior
These games defined an era – it was about time they received the full GOG Preservation Program treatment! But that’s not all.
With the Warhammer Skulls 2025 event live on GOG, Warhammer 40,000: Rites of War is now on a GIVEAWAY: fully updated, LAN-ready, complete with manuals, and yours to keep forever!
Warhammer is a universe so vast it spills across genres and generations – from grimdark sci-fi to high fantasy, from tabletop to tactics, from single-player campaigns to skirmish-scale gems.
It has shaped player identities, inspired modders, spawned books, art, animation, and unparalleled lore. It’s not just a franchise. It’s a world that gives meaning. And it deserves to be preserved.
Oh, and if you're still reading and haven’t rushed off to fight for the Emperor yet… Sanctus Reach and Armageddon also recently became GOG exclusives. We highly recommend adding them to your library and keeping them safe!

To top it off, we have some great gems soon to join the GOG catalog:
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Lex Imperialis
Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Master Crafted Edition

Enjoy Warhammer Skulls 2025!
The price on Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector stays the same, GOG 0% (33,99€) off vs steams 70% off (now 12,25€)? Without events discount it's 33,99€ on GOG vs. 40,86€ on steam though.

Owners of DOW and Space Marines get any discount on remastered versions?.

idbeholdME: Also proper widescreen support with adjusted UI, instead of disgustingly stretching the original 4:3 ratio. Which is by far the biggest thing in there.
I’m going to pass: I’m already playing this game on a 5:4 screen, with no obvious stretching ;)

I also always just played it with black bars. Hate stretching things that were not meant for widescreen into it. I am pretty sure this is going to be 30 bucks minimum, so I might eventually get it on a deep sale maybe, if at all.
My humble opinion is that An art Picture, as an exampe, is intended to be watched in their original format or "aspect ratio"

A movie or a videogame under their own rules is not different. Period

Amazing new world, new minds, new brains and new eyes. The new senses post truth, :D

which is why i hope they are working on making shadow of the horned rat run in 4k 4:3 since the game is always 640x480 even on win3.1

GoG preservation team making the first winG32wrapper would be huge

Developer's answer ( from their discord ) for the same question :

Hi, are there any possible discounts for players who have original games since it's only remaster and not remake?

Don't think so. We also have not announced the price, but it will be competitive.

I do not have that problem. My game runs in 4;3
yeah but stuck in 640x480 in forced fullscreen, alt tab messes up scaling since it makes the game also lock in windowed mode, and being unable to take screenshots suck.
Sale ended but i see the advert banner on every publisher's page in the store search result .
