Ancient-Red-Dragon: Wow, so it's been a full two years since GOG has failed to do anything to fix the bug introduced in the 10th Anniversary website 'redesign,' which causes the '&' symbol to be translated into strange characters in every user review, both current and retroactively on ones that were written before the 10th Anniversary.

I wonder how many more Th anniversaries will go by before GOG ever bothers to fix that. The 15th? The 20th?
Nah man ,you've very optimistic- how about 40th -50th anniversaries? :) oh wait -i'm optimistic too

DoomSooth: Happy Birthday, GOG. I don't agree with everything you do but I still love you.

Homeworld
Homeworld: Cataclysm AKA Emergence (Nice one, Blizzard. Like anyone was going to confuse a 3D RTS with an MMO.)
Baldur's Gate II
Electronic Popple (GOG needs to acquire this.)
Fallout II
Stratosphere: Conquest of the Skies (This, too.)
Terminator 2029 Deluxe CD Edition (And this.)
Freespace II
Bob's Dragon Hunt (It's too bad that Neurosport games will probably never show up here.)
Shadow Warrior (Original)
Star Trek Armada games (GOG needs these!)
Wizardry IV: The Return of Werdna (Don't forget this!)

There are more I could add but I tried to keep the number down. :)
Translating : i mean how can you "LOVE" someone ,when you don't agree with what he does?

Swissy88: I have no familiarity with UTC, it means nothing to me, and I don't feel like looking it up every time you say the time for a stream. Yeah, boo hoo, I'm 'lazy' because I don't want to do extra work to know when you're streaming. I'm not even a casual, do you think casuals are going to go the extra length to look up UTC time conversions? If you're not trying to attract the casual audience, you're doing it wrong.
Finally -a good comment -had to go through 4 pages ,just to find a smart comment -with every day that goes by ,GoG gets more lame. And heck now , i won't say HPBD

McAllen: Translating : "I don't acknowledge what you do,but i still eat your SHIT " i mean how can you "LOVE" someone ,when you don't agree with what he does? Jesus fkin man, this new type of bullshit
It means I don't like all of their decisions but it's the best place for DRM-free games.

No new games were added today ? =(
So I have the first three Van Helsings. What is the difference between those and the Final Cut?

ShadowWulfe: So I have the first three Van Helsings. What is the difference between those and the Final Cut?
From Steam page:
"The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut is the definite collection of three stand-alone episodes told as one continuous story, with six playable classes and a new endgame mode with a huge variety of open missions!"

Happy Belated 12th Anniversary, GOG!

If I may, here's a list of 12 random classic games from my collection of physical discs, games that I was nostalgically pleased to find here on GOG...

- Sacrifice
- MDK
- Outcast
- Giants: Citizen Kabuto
- Myst
- Grim Fandago
- Omikron: The Nomad Soul
- The Longest Journey
- Unreal Tournament GOTY
- Wolfenstein 3D
- Thief Gold
- Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
Happy Birthday, GOG.

It would have been really happy, though, before knowing what you did recently. Now i'm not happy at all.

Anyway, as others have said already, cheers to the GOG employees that are still there after all this years and can't talk in public. Happy birthday to you, and good luck for the future.
Does Ori have an in-game leaderboard?

amok: criticism is fine and good, and it is needed.. However, using the release threads as your personal blog to let people know your feelings without actually having any criticism is.... not.... if all you have to say is nothing, then I question the need and energy spent to do so. and that is a bit of criticism from me. and in case you are still questioning this, point out the bit in the post that started this that is a point of criticism, and not a part of a persons blog post, that is nothing but self important hot air
I don't see the difference between that and the rest of the posts expressing peoples feelings that came before it.
I'm not sure if this is a controversial opinion but I'm somewhat glad GOG dropped their principle or preference for not having deep discounts on games. I think it's okay to compete with Steam on this, and a great discount can encourage people to double-dip here on semi-old releases they may already own on Steam. (Perhaps ideally deep discounts wouldn't have started in the first place - indies especially deserve support - but it is where we are now.)
