Kagnig: Okay another post here with a question. I got my CD key and went to work on it. However, it didn't work and kept telling me the file was corrupted. I did check out and follow the steps suggested by Emusan at, /neverwinter_nights_series/okay_what_the_hell_i_have_the_cd_key_but_now, and the result was the same. Not sure if it is me or the cd key? I am assuming its me because I have not worked with this sort of thing before. I did send an email too support but I don't expect to hear back from them until next week. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Kagnig McThunderfart
Sorry won't let me post the link. Maybe it will let me get away with this. (insert link here) .gog.com/forum/neverwinter_nights_series/okay_what_the_hell_i_have_the_cd_key_but_now
When you say that the file is corrupted, I assume that the zip file refuses to extract, right? If that's the case, I suggest you try redownloading the file from the e-mail and if the problem persists, then you should wait for support's reply from Monday onwards.

NWN will be rather large. Usually immediately after downloading it's a good idea either to test the zip or do a sumcheck on it (although you need something to compare it to).

I personally recommend using 7zip for zip tests, as it's rather simple. If it's a unix environment different zip programs will require different flags, pkzip if i remember used -t, advzipcomp also uses -t for testing.

I assume he's talking about the zip file that contains the unique "CDkeys.ini". It isn't particularly large, which is why I said, he should attempt redownloading it. If he's talking about the game, he should try redownloading it again.

Whatever works.
