I installed Galaxy today, and when I tried to login using my existing ID, it told me it was already taken. (Yes, taken by me.) And it wouldn't let me progress any further. I finally ended up creating a new ID (mistake # 1), and I was permitted to create this ID using the email with my existing account (mistake # 2.) This resulted in my initial account, which contains my pre-order of Witcher 3, to become inaccessible. I assume because the email used with that ID is now linked with the new ID. So, within Galaxy, I changed my email, hoping that it would "free up" my existing email, allowing me to access my initial account, but that didn't work. Because now, when I go to the login screen, it only asks for an email address (instead of the user ID), and it tells me that "user not found." I tested the "I'm new here," and I typed in my initial ID, and it tells me that that user is taken, so I know my account is still alive.

I'm new to to this site (obviously) - so sorry if all of this sounds ridiculous. I think what I need to do to solve this is to:

1) Get rid of this Galaxy account so that it is not causing conflicts with my initial GOG account
2) Find a way to access my account using my initial ID (not my email address), so that I can access and pre-load WIthcer 3. (Is this even possible? I cannot find a way to login to my account using my ID - only an email address.)

Thanks so much for any help.

Thank you. Do you know how long it typically takes them to reply? I'm afraid I won't get a resolution before release day.

They answer as soon as possible. I can't venture to give an exact date, but I think the user accounts question or issues should have a high priority over the other ones.

The best of the luck ^_^
