excuse me, after a lot of thinking i installed galaxy to try gwent

i have gog games already installed in my pc, but when gwent installed it seemed that galaxy had its own folder for games which the app will manage.

is it possible to make it "see" and work with already installed games even if they are outside the preferred folder?

thank you in advance, bye
Short answer is "yes, it supposed to be able to recognize them", it says in question 11 on Galaxy's webpage (scroll down to the bottom). There's an option within Galaxy to do that, keep looking.

I can't open Galaxy right now to look for it because Galaxy won't open when the computer has more than one (operating system) account logged in.

Additional troubleshooting information for Galaxy is in the sticky thread "GOG Galaxy - Official Discussion Thread" at the top of the General Discussion forum. If you do have any other problems, then be sure to read the first post within the "GOG Galaxy - Official Discussion Thread". Its first post is at the top of every page of that thread, so you can't miss it.

On Galaxy, click on the GOG symbol in the upper left. A drop down menu appears. Choose: Scan For Existing Games - or similar.
thank you very much people, it seems to work with *almost* every game (didn't seem to get any of my blackwell series ones)

anyway thanks as usual the community is freaking great

If the Scan and Import fails for some games, you still have another method. Go to the game page in your library, then click More -> Manage Installation -> Import folder
And once you've imported your games, if you move them to another drive or folder, you can just have Galaxy scan the folder you moved them too and they'll run fine, as GOG takes care of things like registry and such.
read at least one of the two replies NEARLY TWO YEARS AFTER THEIR POSTING. i am SO sorry (have trouble with gog forum management).

i want to say thank you all for your help, i will most surely make use of your suggestions, even after so much time, since some games "are still sitting there".
