Ciri's Journey in GOG Galaxy:

Ciri emerges from the portal into the world of GOG Galaxy, a never-ending corridor covered in hues of neon purple. It is covered wall to wall in doors of all the games. She looks back to see her door close, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, lost in the doors of infinity.

After walking around for some time, she sees the world of Cyberpunk, it is filled with light and could not be any different from her own world. But that is not the world which caught her eye, there was another door, one peeking out so dark with nothing but a dim spark - it's called to her like a wounded dog, a feeling she was all too familiar with - drawn to it, she walks in and the as the door closes it reads, Dark Souls.

She walks out a moment later, with the look of a lifetime had gone passed, armed with the knowledge of a Champion of Ash, she emerges with a sword of Firelink, and locks the door behind her as she leaves knowing that others must not be allowed to interfere with the cycle. Armed with these tools, she can return to defeat the Wild Hunt and forge a new life for herself, one without conflict but only just so (she is a Witcher, after all - where’s the fun in that).

I sat at my desk on a Friday night, after a long hard week i was finally playing Pathfinder Kingmaker. The lights were dim and i was vibing. As the night drew on I took my hands of the keyboard, exhaling, and placing them on top of my head, i sat back and thought to myself 'i wish i had the best weapon in this game...'

Immediately great deep cracks and snaps of sound burst upon my eardrums. I fell off my chair one hand grasping my racing heart and the other shielding my eyes as from the corner of my room a great light was pulsating and growing at an alarming pace.

My eyes strained and couldn't believe themselves as the sphere of light developed into a large semi circle containing a pitch black darkness. To my horror a figure stepped through and noticing me halted their advance as the circle behind them receded and vanished.

"I'm sorry to intrude and I'm sorry for the lack of introductions but from across the dimensions, planes and times, i heard a thought and it lead me on a journey. it has brought me here.' My ears were telling me it was a high pitched chirpy voice but my brain was in a state of incomprehension.

The light returned to normal, and my eyes, were they lying to me? in my room was a young woman. I rubbed my eyes fiercely and comprehension seemed to resume. This woman with wispy ashen blonde hair, a pale blouse and leather pants was offering me a hand up from my undignified position sprawled out on the floor. I swallowed hard. 'I... I.. I know you.' I stammered as I stood up, my knees shaking and yet however somewhere deep within me I believed I was in no danger. 'Your Ciri. From my game. the Witcher!'

'Yes i am Ciri and yes I am a Witcher but it is no game. I am currently being pursued by enemies, the Wild Hunt. But I do perceive I have a few moments here, yes it is safe for now. but I must not tarry." I swallowed hard again staring intently at her. "I have come from the stolen lands', she resumed, 'you must have heard of them , as it was your wish that lead me there, you desired a mighty weapon, I have it here with me. She took out an object from a bundle slung on her back. It has a name... Tyrant, she proffered the flail to me. 'The universe describes it as '+5' but i am unable to descry what that possibly could mean.'

'But Ciri', my voice returned. 'I think theres been a mistake! 'I was only wishing i had one in my game!' She looked startled and surprised , her big green eyes rounding in annoyance 'Game, Game! what is this about games!?' 'Look'! I said quickly as i knew she wasn't one to mess around with. 'Ill show you!'

So for the next hour and a half I showed Ciri how to play Pathfinder Kingmaker. She sat at my desk using the d20, picking out spells, and strategies. whereas I, although answering any question she brought up, still made quick glances with my unbelieving eyes on her, unsure still if any of this was real or not.

After many laughs were had, she announced she had been distracted for too long and that she must go. I bade her goodbye and wished her luck as she summoned and vanished again into the portal. I took a deep breath and sighed looking into the space where she once was and now was not.
Ciri would steal the fabled DRM Purger, an artifact of great power, hidden deep within the GOG HQ vaults (the lock is DRM-protected, that way no one in the premises knows how to open it except one tech with the key).

It purifies the DRM of any game with one touch, but takes a moment to charge up again. Naturally, it requires a great amount of true gamer's passion, generated by the pedals under every GOG employee's work desk, while they take care of their everyday business.

Why steal it then? Well, see that tech in charge of they key managed to misplace it and the staff had to go back to the times when purging DRM from a game required a gruesome exorcism ritual involving led candles, a dozen unicorn fleas, a full plate of pierogi and two round peddles. Those were dark times, truly.

Thankfully, Ciri was kind enough to blink inside the vault, grab the DRM Purger and return it to the GOG people who know how to use it. Now they just need to take better care of it, that's all she asks for.

Or else.
My entry is in form of vector art, available on Twitter below the contest thread (@Dafthar). Apparently I can't post links & attachments here.

The render is in 4K, so make sure to see the full resolution!

Ciri would go to the world of Stardew Valley.

While the poor farmer sleeps with their spouse, Ciri happens upon the farm. Figuring the sheer number of crops meant the farmer wouldn't care for a few losses, she grabs a few strange crops she's never seen before such as the Ancient Fruit, Starfruit, and Sweet Gem Berry.

While she snoops about, she finds where the farmer makes their wine and decides Geralt and Yennefer would love a gift. The poor farmer loses a few bottles of iridium quality Wine and Mead along with their crops.

Finally, she happens upon a chest. Inside, she finds a strange purple sword. Figuring the farmer only has one, she wants to leave it. But when a group of strange slime monsters starts attacking her, she is forced to teleport back to her homeworld, taking the sword with her.

When she showed up for the 10th-anniversary video, Ciri would have given Barnabas Basil one of her stolen Wines. Even Annarietta would have been jealous of how good the Wine is. Geralt would gladly take the crops, taking seeds from them to grow and also using them to make the most exquisite Wine Toussaint has ever seen. When she trains with Geralt, they note how odd it is that the purple sword never seems to get damaged...

And the farmer would wake up in the morning, wonder where all their shit went, then use the CJB mods to spawn in everything they lost because clearly the game just broke.

I will leave two links to my story and then I will copy and pasted here, because is a relatively long story at least for the forum.
I wish I had started earlier.

Warning: probably there is a lot of typos and bad redaction, I'm an amateur and with my work I barely had time to make an entry :/

If Ciri was to visit a GOG world during one of her journeys through portals, what would she bring back with her?
Ciri suddenly enters 2021 through a portal, her first impression? Why are people covering their faces. She proceeds to cover hers too. She trades her way into a gaming center, suddenly she finds herself in the world of gog, thinking about all these good deals and how she should trade more for an out of this world experience as the cashier said. Suddenly she sees a bright yellow color that catches her eyes, “Cyberpunk 2077” she proceeds to buy it because she felt that it has a connection with her, she learns the basics and here she is already in character selection mode and bam she plays her way throughout the game and she finds her first easter egg. This reminds me of my world. And that’s how she took back her gog account info. So she can get to finish what she started.
I don't know if I can upload an editable file and is too late to ask the blues, personalñy I prefer the other version in a google doc, but I will upload it here too:

CIRI GOGER ADVENTURE (Part I):
Corvo Bianco Vineyard, during a hot summer night.
Around a small campfire, under a large tree on a small hill, a group of old friends composed of the famous bard Dandelion, the sorceress Yeneffer of Vengerber, the witcher Geralt of Rivia and the young Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon
heir to the throne of Cintra, better known as Ciri was
preparing to have a small gathering.
The fire was enough to provide light to the participants, while they ate, drank, shared laughter and stories of their different adventures and maintained a friendly competition for which was the best anecdote, where the most interesting were undoubtedly those of Dandelion and Ciri. The bard had the advantage because of the eloquence of someone of his profession, and his great ability to modify the truth to suit, very typical of his personality.
On the other hand, the young heiress of the Elder Blood lived many adventures in places that not even the most imaginative of liars could match.
- … and that is how with my charm and masculinity I was able to save the life of the beautiful and young Queen, who was sentenced to death for not being able to give the whitered King an heir, as had happened with his previous wives. At the same time, I save the life of a lady and the future of a kingdom. But no one should know the official story. -Dandelion put an end to his narration, making a funny face and a gesture of silence.
At the end of his tale, the laughter was immediate.
- I have to admit, that one was great, Dandelion -
Geralt said, raising his glass in congratulations to the bard.
- Great indeed - Yennefer added- but I want to hear another story from Ciri.
- C’mon Ciri, please tell us about other of your
journeys, you won’t let Dandelion win, right? You should have more to tell. - Geralt said, encouraging the young princess.
- Geralt it’s right, must be something that you are not telling us.
- I support the motion - expressed the bard - I want to hear more of your stories, not just one more of your stories, I want to hear your best story, after all if I lose that competition at least I will get material to compose my ballads and coins for my pockets. It' s a win / win situation for me.
The girl was thoughtful for a moment, as if she were searching through her memories for the best story to tell or as if she doubted her choice. She looked at hes glass for a moment, then took a long sip of her drink and said:
- Okay, I think I have the perfect story for the occasion, but I already warn you to have an open mind because this is going to sound very crazy.
- We have seen many things, Ciri. Put us to the test -
said the witcher.
- I was saying it just for you, you were the one who thought I was joking when I told you about the world with flying ships.
- Okey, okey, I promise I will be more open minded this time. After all, I went to a dream land quite recently, rode a unicorn and even went to the sky climbing the stem of a magic bean…
- … and we also have traveled to other universes ourselves, and as a sorceress, I have seen a lot of weird things - Yennefer added.
- … and there is no more food - said the bard, with a disappointed expression after trying to grab another piece of cheese and noticing that Geralt had taken it first.
- Fine, I'll tell you, but first ...
Ciri took a drink and dried her glass.
-... first I will get more wine to fill my glass.
- And I will get more food.
And so they did.
Once they were all gathered around the campfire again, they prepared to continue, the young lady ate a piece of cheese and began her story:
- You know that I have visited many worlds while fleeing from the Wild Hunt, but of all of them I think this is the strangest, but at the same time I think it is the most comforting, almost familiar in a sense. Landed in a forest, at first I believed that I had returned to our world, because the mighty forest was very similar to those around Kaer Morhen. I thought about getting out of there as fast as I could because thought that the Hunt might find me soon, but the reality is that I was too tired and could no longer continue.
Ciro looked at his viewers and felt pressured. So take a
drink, the truth is that she was only looking for an excuse to
take a sip of that delicious wine.
- Decided to rest for a while, and after that I walked around looking for someone or something, but just the birds were my company, till I found a path and followed it, thought it would take me somewhere eventually… and it did, accidentally I ran into some explorers…
- What were they like? Were they tall? They tried to
attack you? - Dandelion asked.
- I was just going to tell that part - Ciri replied.
- Oh ... yes, sorry. Please, continue.

CIRI GOG ADVENTURES (Part II)
- Well… I quickly drew my sword and prepared for combat, but they just kept looking at me with a smile on their faces. Then they calmly approached me and I just lowered my sword, they began to praise me and my "cosplay".
- Your what???? - asked Dandelion again.
- My cosplay, it is like a costume, but you should never compare someone who does cosplay with someone who dresses up, that offends them a lot and you will have to prepare for a long explanation of why it is different and that it goes far beyond dressing as a character, it is acting and feel like you really are that character. Do you understand?
- Yes, I think I do. - replied the ballad composer with
pleasure.
- Those explorers asked me if they could take a picture with me, - and before you ask Dandelion, a picture is like a portrait but way quicker, really small and really really detailed, like it looks almost real- I agreed because they seemed like reliable people and they took out a device that in the blink of an eye created a portrait of us, it was very surprising.
- How was this device? - asked one more time, the annoying but adorable bard.
- Stop for a minute with your question, Dandelion.
Leave something for the end - Yennefer reproached, while Geralt only limited himself to drinking because after so many adventures he had learned to tolerate, or indeed to ignore the noisy bard.
- But she is like Geralt, they forget about the small details - protested.
- It does not matter, I am sure that you can fill the gaps in a way that is the most favorable for you, please, continue darling.
- Okay. After the portrait, they invited me to the city.
There was a celebration there, found out that those people were really nice, they offered me food and drink on our way to the city. They addressed me by my name and they spoke as
if they knew me and they knew my life.
- And that didn't seem suspicious to you? - but this time it was Geralt who asked - I taught you to be cautious.
- Yes, of course I did, but at the same time I felt safe
with them. Oh! And almost forgot, Leon and Clair were their names.
The White Wolf seemed satisfied with the answer.
- When we arrived at the city, it was so incredible that
you won’t believe it. Oh, what a beautiful city!!!! -
exclaimed the young woman, with amusement in her
voice and a glint in her eyes, remembering as if she were
there for the first time, once again.
Ciri took a sip from her glass and took a breath, ready to continue.
- White and violet were the colors of the city, they painted the houses and the roofs with those colors, the decorations of the festival went with the colors too, with ornaments on the trees and the different statues, with streets made of stone and blue cloudy sky above.
There were buildings and houses that looked futuristic and like our constructions at the same time. There were big churches, fountains and many statues all around the city. It was as big as Novingrad and beautiful as Toussaint.
I arrived during a celebration, it was full of people, people wearing cosplays, and this is the interesting part, it was cosplays of… us!
- What?! - all the spectators asked in unison.
- Yes, that's how I tell you - replied the narrator, while observing the incredulous look of her drunken and stunned public- I know it will seem strange but this is just the beginning, it gets worse.
- How much worse? - they asked.
- Much. Well, continuing, in that city there was an event of cosplays, and the best dressed and the one who best interprets its character would win an award- she explained.
- One more time, I repeat, it was weird but comforting, seeing so many people dressed as people I knew, like you Geralt, Yen, Vesemir, Triss, Dandelion, Lambert, Eskel and more, even me, various versions of me, it was crazy and I love it, for a moment it felt like home, a weird and crazy home.
- Do you imagine how great a city full of Dandelions would be? - asked Dandelion.
- A nightmare - replied Geralt.
- What? - said the bard, looking at the witcher.
- It would be impossible to find my friend.
- Awwwww, you lovely grumpy bastard. -exclaim the bard, with a smile on his face.
Ciri lost herself in thought for a moment, then she leaned forward and prepared to continue her story.
- We walked the streets for a while, until we reached the main square, and there I discovered something even crazier than that whole situation... In the middle of the square there was a giant statue of Geralt slaying a Noonwraith and at the bottom a description that said "The
one who made all this possible".
- Ciri, stop kidding, it is supposed that Dandelion is the
liar. - Said Geralt.
- Yes - added the bard. Wait a minute…
- It’s the truth, I swear, you promised to be open
minded.
- Yes, but this sounds extrange, is really hard to
believe.
- But you will, trust me. Now please let me continue.
- Please dear, I am very intrigued to know why someone in the world would do a statue of Geralt and not of me - said the sorceress, who has been listening in detail to the story.
- Me too, so I asked my new friends what that statue was, and they offered to take me to the Museum that was really close to the main square. So we headed to that place.
Once we arrived in that big building, there were a lot of people and a lot of art exhibited.
I asked one guy that worked there and he told me the story of the city. It turns out that the people came from the Nation of the Northern Cardinal, with the intention of expanding their territory to new areas, and that way the city of GOGtopia was born. They still keep in touch with the neighbouring Nation, that is right next to each other, just crossing the river, and sometimes celebrate together like on the occasion I arrived, they unite to celebrate the so-called Witcher-Con.
CIRI GOGER ADVENTURE (Part III)
Ciri takes a sip of her wine.
- At the beginning the citizens of GOGtopia were dedicated to restoring old products, products that were very difficult to obtain, and the few lucky ones who could get some could not make them work. The Gogers saw an opportunity in this endeavor and embarked on the task of finding and modifying these ancient products to function again and bring them to the world.
With time and the success that this task brought them, they
continued to expand, including also the distribution of new products and even handicrafts typical of the city, such as necklaces and rings with the colors of the city, white, black
and purple. But nothing of that would be possible without “The Witcher”, the story of your life Geralt, your adventures inspired the Nation of the Northern Cardinal to create something that the world loves and admires, and allow them to expand even more.
- Wait a second - said Geralt- how they knew about my life?
- A man saw your life, and he wrote the books that were
distributed around the world, to tell your story and let
all the people know.
- So Geralt was like a God? - Dandelion asked.
- Not like a God, but it was someone that inspired people to go beyond, to dream big and to fight for those dreams, he was loved for many people, and even us were loved and admired for many people, people that don’t even know us personally, but they stood with us in all our adventures, they suffer, and rejoy with us. - Ciri answers the bard's question.
- Are you using fisstech, Ciri? - Geralt asked- because
this sounds like too much.
- But it is true, I warn you before start.
- And how did this man know about my life?
- I’m not sure, don’t stay enough to find out. But trust me if one day I come back to that place I will ask for
you and even will try to find that man.
The young lady with ashen hair looks and the witcher with a
sincere smile on her face.
-Well, I have to continue with my story or I will never finish. So after visiting the museum, where I saw a lot of art of ourselves, some statues of Yenn and Dandelion and even Zoltan and Regis…
- Those people have a really good taste, I’m sure my statues were way better than Geralt’s one. - The bard added, mockingly to his friend.
- Oh yeah, way better, they capture your essence perfectly,
Dandelion -said the princes while she laughed.
Take a breath after that and clear her throat.
-After the museum, we went to the main square, it was late,
and the street lights start to turn on, the day ended and the
night started, and with it a new part of the city, were
something called “neon lights”, purples like the city, adorned
the streets, announcing pubs and other stores where now
opened. The black and purple with the stars above give the city a different and mystic, yet majestic aura.
The main event was about to start, the cosplay contest.
Along with Leon and Claire, we approached the main stage. Leon went to buy some food and drinks. One man, I think it
was the leader of the place, whatever it was the title they gave him, appeared on stage and started to give a speech to thanks all the people and the cosplay participants, announcing that the contest was about to start.
In the middle of that, Leon took my arm and pulled me out
of the crowd quickly and tell me “we have to go, quickly, take this number”, he inscribed my in the contest, I doubt for a moment but after all I am myself, so I had an advantage over the other participants.
- Basically, you cheated - said Yenn.
- Naaa, I just saw my chance and took it - Ciri laughed.
After all, some money from that world would be good for me if I stay some time.
Needless to say that I crushed the competition. And have a bag of gifts for me and quite some money to spend there.
- Wait, you have gifts from that world? -asked Dandelion anxiously.
- No, not that bag at least, I gave to Leon and Claire, after all it was thanks to them that I won.
- Awww… - replied the bard, obviously disappointed.
- I invited my new friends to eat. And then I looked for an inn to spend the night because that day's activities
ended, and my god, that bedroom was really fancy, and
that bathroom white as snow was extremely clean,
never see something like that in here, not even in a
King’s bathroom.
When I wake up, I leave the place with my things and head up to the main square. Once I reached my destination, I noticed that they were projecting something in a big black mirror, like a megascope. It was a play about your adventures Geralt, and the actor was a really big and handsome guy. Watched the play
for a moment and then went through the differentes market stalls. I bought more food, and some other things, but one thing caught my attention, was a guy of
my age, maybe a little bit younger. He was selling
portraits of us, of our world, I recognized the court of
Wyzima in those pictures… and Kaer Morhen… the
Skellige Islands.
Ciri looked sad for a moment, lost in her thoughts.
- Are you okay, ugly one? - said Yenn.
- Ugly one… you haven’t called me that way in a long
time... -Ciri smiled.
Finish her glass in one sip and fill the cup again.
- Fine, I’m fine, time to finish my story, I promise, it’s almost done - explained the girl-, I just get emotional for a moment… I was alone for a long time while traveling, I didn't know anything about you after I left you on Malus Island. I did not know how they were and if they were alive and well…
Her audience listened to her attentively, imagining how hard everything that happened had to be for her.
-... when that guy showed me an album with hyperreal portraits of you, “Screenshots” he called them… I almost cried. I saw you Geralt and the other witchers fighting a Frightener, fighting a knight with a flaming rose in his chest, in a frozen land, I saw you next to the King Foltest, I saw Dandelion in the Scaffold, I saw Geralt slay a Kayran, and really big muscular guy that looked as a witcher, and many more things of Triss, Zoltan. Things that I didn’t understand at the time, but I was glad to see you okay, and alive.
Ciri smiled.
- After a couple of hours traveling around the city and observing its landscapes, decided to get back to look for Claire and Leon… but on the way, Avallac’h found me. I was happy to saw him, and wanted to show him the city. But he told me that the Wild Hunt knew where I was.
She took a sip to moisten her throat.
- And we have to get back, I like that city and I have to
protect it, I couldn't let the Hunt destroy it just to catch me.
- That 's all? You have to keep travelling and leave the
city. - Dandelion asked.
- Yep, I couldn’t even say goodbye to my friends, it was
too risky. With sadness in my heart I had to leave the city.
- I’m sorry darling. -added Yen.
- It 's okay now. Don’t worry - replied.
Ciri stood up and said.
- I’ll be right back.
And he went inside trying to walk straight.
After some minutes she came back with a bag with a symbol of the Wolf School on the front.
She sat down again and revealed what her audience was expecting.
- This was the book I was talking about, I bought it and brought it with me ... it served me a lot ... every time I missed them I looked at that book one more time and imagined how it was going.
- So all what you told us was real???? -Dandelion asked.
- Did you doubt? - Ciri answer.
- I don’t remember seeing any painters when I was in that fight. How did that guy get these portraits???? - Geralt wondered.
- This is truly amazing, Ciri!!!!- exclaim Yennefer.
- I know, I know, and that’s not all, these are some gifts for you.
Ciri reached into her backpack and pulled out some very strange and colorful dice sets, each containing a coin with the
face of each of her audience members engraved on it.
- I even have my own coins in that place???? - Shouted
the bard- I have to go there!!!!
- Maybe we will, some day... if I find it again.
- Well it’s official, that’s the craziest story I ever heard.
- Expressed the White Wolf.
- I agree with you Geralt. -Added Yennefer- We undoubtedly have a winner.
The three of them stood up… barely, and started clapping, and Ciri did the same and responded to the ovation with a bow.
After some moments of laughter, they sat down again because it was hard to keep on feets.
- I never would have imagined to hear about a Witcher King… even less than that King would be Geralt.
-Claimed Dandelion.
- I never said Geralt was a King.
- Hey, now is my story, puppet.
- Fine but the show will be free for me, okay?
- Of course it will.
- You know what, Ciri? -Geralt said- I think now I want to hear about that world with flying ships.
- Sorry my friend, but I think that will be a story for another day.
-THE END-

I'm not a writer but I hope you like it :)

Ciri's journey to a new world:

Ciri stepped out of the swirling portal, and when she opened her eyes a wonderful scenery unfolded in front of her. She found herself on a trodden path lined with huge trees. The trees reminded her of pines, but she never saw anything like it before. Their trunk grew almost completely horizontally from the ground and after a meter turned up to the sky.
The needles of the pine gleamed in different shades of blue and purple, just like the moss beneath them. Ciri looked up and was completely lost in the enchanting beauty of the royal blue sky where the stars were perfectly visible even during the day. The desire for adventure overcame her, she wanted to explore this fascinating unknown world.
At first she was clueless, didn't know where to go. But then a giant red bird flew over her, creating waves of huge flame clouds, under it's wings, at each wing strike. It happened so unexpectedly, but her fingers were already intertwined with the grip of her sword. As soon as it appeared, it just as suddenly disappeared on the horizon, she stared at the sky for a few more minutes, then released her sword. She thought it might be a sign, and growing curiosity made her eventually head in the direction the red bird had disappeared.
As she followed the path, a huge river stopped her, curved over by a wooden bridge. It was crafted with amazing precision. Various animals and creatures were engraved, as if it told a story. The river dripped in a beautiful violet color, from which sometimes a larger white fish jumped up. She leaned against the railing in the middle of the bridge, she looked at the water and suddenly felt like it is Yennefer who is facing her eye to eye. The swirling water and the special violet color evoked the sorceress and the memories she experienced with her, all those memories had fragrant of Lilac and Gooseberry.
A sharp scream tore her out of the contemplation, the red wings where racing across the sky like firewaves. This time she did not wait and started to chase it. She was able to keep up with the bird, thanks to her witcher workouts and natural abilities. After a while, they reached the edge of the forest. Suddenly she stopped, her eyes widening and she just stared straight ahead. Although she had seen something similar before, the city she had just seen was the most amazing of it all. The buildings reached high into the sky, their top was barely visible, they where covered with clouds.
There were homes that Ciri had already seen in Novigrad, but she also saw some that she discovered in other worlds, as if a few of each world represented itself in one huge city. Multitude of various flying vehicles, even a floating sailing ship was up above. Dragons crossed their path, and other creatures shared the sky with them. The city was surrounded by a large wall and the violet river encircled it from all sides, just like the Oxenfurt Academy. However, unlike the academy, the bridge here was not built of stone, but flaming fire that were closed into an invisible barrier. Beyond the bridge, a robust gate was occupied by a house-sized sitting white wolf. The big red bird was sitting on top of the head of the wolf. Ciri approached the bridge but was reluctant to throw herself into the flames. But then she remembered Triss, who still using fire magic to this day, despite the fact she suffered very serious burns with Sodden.
She gathered all her courage and set off on the bridge. To her surprise, instead of burning herself, she felt as if Triss was holding her hand, to help her through the flames. She might have been halfway there when she noticed the big wolf rising on all fours and looking at her with his yellow eyes. As Ciri stepped off the bridge, the wolf lowered his head to the ground to take a closer look at the girl. It looked into Ciri's emerald green eyes and then turned its head toward the gate as it squeaked open. Before she entered, she put her hand on the wolf's nose and thanked him. In response, the wolf just blew air with his nose, creating a smaller cloud of dust around them. The memory of someone who is like a father to her she is hearing him now, the grumpy “white wolf” in her own world, he signs the same way, whenever she is up to no good.
Beyond the gate, she saw a big wide open space, with colorfully lit signs and shops. She realized it is a huge market, many kinds of creatures, bustling from one place to another like ants and had more and more stuff with them after each stop. There was a triangular gate in the center of the square. In this gate, the landscape was constantly changing, and with each shift, dozens of human-like or non-human-like creatures stepped out. She had seen a lot of portals, but never been impressed with them before. This one was special. Curiosity lead her into the market, she joined a dazzling crowd. She already spent several hours studying the shops, the city, and the alien creatures, but even if she could have wandered for days, she could never reach the end. Finally, she give up, and realizes she really need a rest. Next to the bench, where she decided to sit, was a beautyful fountain. The water bursting out from the middle, and it depicted a young girl playing some string instrument. Someone was playing music, the sound came from the middle of the fountain.
Dandelion probably would have run into the fountain after the girl, trying to get lucky with her. She already laughed at the thought of it. While watching, she suddenly noticed that someone was shouting in a language she understood. She ran in the direction of the sound that came from of a nearby tent. The voice belonged to a more delicate man. The man had shoulder length brown hair and a sparse beard on his chin. He was just arguing with a blue-skinned creature about something that Ciri didn't even understand in her own language. The dispute soon ended as they seemed to find a solution that proved to be beneficial to both of them. He handed a small wooden box to the creature and he dropped a pair of elongated golden rods into the man's palm and then left. The salesman then turned to Ciri and asked what he could help her. Ciri raised her hands in protest and told the salesman that she was walking in this world for the first time and that she had just come here to hear someone speak in a language she understood. The shaggy man smiled, scratched his chin, pointed to an interesting device. This device most closely resembled a headband made of metal and was filled with tiny colorfully lit lights. He said it was a translator headband for understanding other languages. With the help of the headdress, you could talk to any salesman, innkeeper, anyone in town.
The desire for discovery began to rise again in her. They almost agreed on a deal, when Ciri pulled a letter from the leather bag mounted on her belt while searching for her purse. She had completely forgotten about it, it was with her before she arrived to this world. The letter came from Geralt. She asked the salesman for a a few minutes before paying the price for the item she choose. Then opened the letter, and started to read. When she reached the end and put the letter away. She smiled with tearful eyes. Her tears were tears of joy. Geralt did not forget her birthday, he wanted to celebrate it together at the Toussaint estate. Her heart was no longer filled with desire for adventure but with joy and homesickness. She pushed the headband back, said goodbye to the frustrated trader, and then started to walk to the exit. She was almost out, when she remembered something. She turned back to the salesman and asked if he had any items that shows what adventures she was involved in other worlds. The salesman opened his mouth to a wide smile. He took another device from one of the cabinets. He turned it to Ciri, pressed something on it that flashed it, and it pushed some paper out from the front. He showed the little sheet to the girl who was still wiping her eyes from the sudden flash of light.
As soon as she looked at the paper, she nodded and laughed, she said it is perfect. As you know, this is a device called a photo camera. It is enchanted, so you don't run out of paper. It creates pictures of places, like a painter, but faster. Geralt once told her about a similar machine, but it was much bigger than this. The shopkeeper provided Ciri with the necessary information about using the machine. Ciri paid for the device, said goodbye, and walked out of town. She looked through the bustling crowd one last time and in the next second she was already in the middle of a vineyard. Happiness filled her when she saw Geralt's house. She looked at the small machine again. She thought she had everything. Her loved ones and the memories, experiences they shared. And with this device, she can preserve their memories until the end of time. She put down the camera for now and headed to the house, this time on an already familiar path.

My entry in the form of a short story.

In the vast cosmic gaming universe in which GOG Galaxy resides, a lone traveler named Ciri appears out of nowhere. With a dashing purple light and a booming, almost deafening sound, she enters what appears to be a system of games drifting in a vast void. Weird beings with joysticks, keyboards, controllers, and mice gather what's left of their pouches to purchase many of these floating games, not caring how broke it will leave them. Amidst this chaotic shopping spree so unknown to her, Ciri spots a lonely star hidden behind the massive planets and clusters of games, deals, and DRM stuff; heck if she knows what that is...

A lonely star surrounded by more than 100 of these weird beings, all typing, drawing, photographing, and excreting a tremendous amount of effort around this star. What could they be doing? A mystery to all of Ciri's kind would be. Yet, she spots one small but gorgeous statue of herself being showcased at this lonely star. The creatures of this universe seem to be fighting against the clock, all trying to win what appears to be this statue of her.

"Why don't they just pick it up?"
Ciri would argue over something so absurd.

While the creatures participate in this hectic endeavor rushing in despair to submit their entries and the juries ticking the clock, Ciri approaches the lonely star. She stares at the prize, not only her statue but more. An intricate box stuffed with golden pieces in weird shapes, a tiny cauldron with a sparkling candle, and 3 more statutes so small, so petite, she could grasp them in her hands. All shining in their magnificent glory.

Her pupils dilate, she starts to sweat, and as if cupid would soar an arrow through her mind instead of her heart, she loses track of time and space. With another dashing, blinding light, the creatures of this gaming universe felt as if their souls were being pulled out of their bodies. And in the blink of an eye, the prize they were fighting for so long had completely vanished from sight.

No one knows what happened right after the incident. Nothing until an entry in their screens popped up stating that: Ciri came back from their GOG universe stealing a Ladies of the wood candle bowl, some good loot of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Jigsaw Puzzle, a Place of Power Wireless Charger, the Three Dark Horse figures, and her own Ciri and the Kitsune Figure ‑ Limited Edition, so that no one wins the prize.
FIN...
If Ciri was to visit a GOG world during one of her journeys through portals, what would she bring back with her?

Oh, well, I suppose a simpler answer could be given to that question, but sometimes it’s better to tell a story. So, why not?

Smells Like Lilac and Gooseberries

It was an accident.
Some time after the Wild Hunt was defeated, Ciri was back on her own, traveling through the Continent. Saving people, hunting things, family business. Geralt had headed back to Toussaint, where he now lived with Yennefer. Although the idea of a calm and quiet life could be quite pleasant, Ciri did not feel like that. Instead, he kept on the road, a she-Witcher or so she was called although she never suffered any mutation, but then again, she never needed it.
Her days of travelling around worlds with the Sage Avallac’h was done - or so she thought -, but she never stopped using the power of her blood for the hard work of killing monsters. And then, for a reason she probably would never find, one of her jumps - one that was meant to take her just a few meters ahead -, took her to a world she would never forget.

It was an accident.

Around there, it was all familiar. It made her remember about that world when she and Avallac'h could avoid the detection of the Wild Hunt for about six months. The one where people had metal in their heads, waged war from a distance, using things similar to megascopes. Where there were no horses, everyone had their own flying ship instead. And yet it was all so different. All the lights made her blind from a moment, but differently than before, they shone in just a single color: It was purple. The ground was paved with white plaques of what would seem an opaque glass that had a pulsing light underneath it. It was all so bright… Except for some of the buildings and the very sky. They were in shades of grey which added a singular contrast to that world’s charm.
She could just have entered one of the dark alleys that were not lit by the lights from the white plaques and be back at the Continent with no time, but then she thought to herself: “Why not fool around a bit?”. After all, that’s what Geralt always accused her of doing.
She could have explored many paths, but one of them was pretty clear and obvious before her eyes. It was as she was meant to be there. For, as she glanced up, at the end of that long and bright avenue, there was a building above all other: It was like a temple. A sumptuous temple. It’s walls were all white and the purple lights were disposed in beautiful forms. Above the great entrance, where a dragon could easily walk through, there stood a circle.

But it was not just any circle. It was a symbol. She never knew what it symbolized, but yet still she knew. It was the first thing that stuck in her memory from that world. But it was not it that drew her there, for, along one of their walls, there was a banner with a very familiar face stamped on it: It was Geralt drawing his silver sword from it’s sheath. “... the f**k?”, she muttered before entering to explore it.
To make it simple and comprehensible, it was like a fair. There were a lot of stands that sold the unthinkable stuff, including little statues of her, which amazed her. Although many people worn different clothes, no one looked differently to her, for there were more people dressed like her, and some seemed to be dressing like people that she knew! Triss, Yennefer, Geralt… And then there were some kind of masses where people would get together in rooms that looked like arenas. She then took the only obvious conclusion: In that world, they were Gods.

Breathless for all that had been suffocating her, she ran to a door. On the other side, there was a long white marble desk with holes, where silver pipes laid above. One of them, as she saw another girl using it, dropped water where she washed her hands. By the other side of that weird room, there were black partitions, and inside it a very peculiar kind of vase. But that was not what caught her attention the most. For, beside the vase, there was a purple circle, just like the one she saw outside the temple, but this one was some sort of paper roll.

— What is that…? — She muttered, once again amazed.

— LOL. That’s the toilet paper. Weird, isn’t it? — The girl that was in the room chuckled, turning around to leave, but giving a long stare to Ciri before it. — Nice costume, by the way.

Toilet Paper?!”, she thought. What could that possibly be for? She did not know, but Ciri was curious to be sure. She approached and took the stuff in her hands, noticing how soft it was against the skin, giving her a chilling and pleasurable sensation. The weirdest thing was that when she brought that close to her nose, the most familiar scent got caught by her nose.
It smelled like Lilac and Gooseberries.

Recklessly, she ran from one partition to another, grabbing as many rolls of that paper as she could carry. A token from that world. A token from the symbol she saw outside, for this “toilet paper” was surely made by it’s image. And just like that, a green sparkle lit that bathroom, as it was called by those people, and when it faded, Ciri wasn’t there anymore.

A little after that, in Toussaint, Ciri arrived presenting weird gifts for Geralt and Yennefer.

— I took it from one of my journeys. It seems to be an icon from that world, where they worshipped us like Gods and even dressed like us! — She said excitedly. — And feel it, Geralt! It is soft paper! Toilet Paper, they called it. Even smells like you, Yen!

As Geralt took it and turned it into his hands, his eyes caught an embossed mark in the paper. He could read two weird words aligned, one above the other: “Gog Com”.

— Hm… — The White Wolf mumbled. — Toi… Toilet Paper? Sounds fancy, complicated.

Yennefer, who was just standing and watching from a distance, approached and took it from Geralt’s hand. It took her just a brief time to make a quick analysis, giving it back to the witcher with the plain certainty of what it was used for. She then said:

— Yet it’s ever so simple… — And so the explanation went on.

By some point, Geralt smirked.

— Mhm…

Yennefer rolled her eyes.

— Spare me your juvenile wit, please. — She said lastly.

Ciri just frowned, thinking to herself: “Engineous, the people from that world…
