Create your own fate in a big, immense world that’s affected by every decision and action, drive trucks and tanks, pilot helicopters, planes, and boats, select an arsenal of upgradeable firepower, align with or oppose any faction, and have incredible amounts of fun!

And to make things even better, you can also enjoy a plethora of other great games published by Ziggurat Interactive with discounts up to -70% packed within their Publisher Sale!

Let’s take a closer look at all that gaming goodness!

In Boiling Point: Road to Hell, upon finding out his daughter has been kidnapped in the pseudo-South American country of Realia, Saul Myers, a veteran of the French Foreign Legion, must head to Realia on a rescue mission.

Saul must navigate through the Realian Valley; a region full of tropical jungles, farms, villages, and estates. Saul now has to manage to make his way through the landscape while navigating through dicey situations with corrupt politicians and criminal organizations to find his daughter’s whereabouts.

Manage your reputation. While there are no immediate enemies in the game, it is all in how you play. While the natural habitat of Realia can be dangerous, being home to snakes and large predators, there are six factions for Saul to try to satisfy.

While these relationships begin neutral, completing missions can raise or lower your reputation with the Realian government, guerrillas, the mafia, native tribes, bandit groups, and even the CIA. But be careful, creating allies can lead to unrest and enemies elsewhere.

Make sure to also join us during our Twitch Stream on November 15th, 11 PM UTC, with KaurTube jumping into the skin of Saul Myers.

When it comes to the Ziggurat Interactive Publisher Sale, until November 20th, 11 PM UTC, you have the perfect opportunity to enhance your library with titles like:

BloodRayne: Terminal Cut (-40%)
World Championship Boxing Manager Bundle (-30%)
American Hero (-50%)
A Boy and His Blob (-35%)
Terminal Velocity™: Boosted Edition (-13%)

…and of course many more great games. Find them all HERE.

A re-release of a cult-classic and a plethora of discounts from the one and only Ziggurat! This week has just started and it’s awesome already. Pick up Boiling Point: Road to Hell, grab other great titles and just have a great time. Enjoy!

MysterD: It's more like a combo of open-world Far Cry games and some STALKER thrown in, too - namely on the open-world FPS thing w/ missions and factions you can join; and Inventory management stuff.

Also, if you haven't seen Xenus 2: White Gold (that's currently over on Steam - hopefully that comes to GOG also at some point), well Xenus 2 is actually Boiling Point's sequel & Saul Myers returns in that. So yeah, that exists too.

So, yeah - Boiling Point RTH is also known as Xenus 1 outside of the USA.

ssling: Interestingly enough, studio responsible for Boiling Point was founded by former GSC employees and key developers behind Codename: Outbreak, who left after its release to form Deep Shadows. So, in a sense, both S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Boiling Point have the same predecessor and could be seen as different evolution paths of ideas originating in Codename: Outbreak.
Correct.

In those areas of gaming around that time (Deep Shadow) to current stuff (GSC and 4A) - from Xenus / Boiling Point with Deep Shadows (and then Xenus 2: White Gold and The Precusors) to GSC with STALKER series (STALKER SOC and COP are awesome - Clear Sky is good too, but not as great as the other 2) to some ending up at 4A (Metro games are out-standing) - yes, some really interesting history going on over there in that region.

Some really good and underrated games over in that area - many that I thought were ground-breaking and doing some interesting stuff w/ genre-hybriding and genre-mixing; namely mixing open-world games, RPG, and FPS. BP is definitely one of them...even despite its laundry list of issues, bugs, stability, and more. Still back then, BP was such a hard game for me to put down - even despite itself.

Of course...Strife was probably out before all of them, with open-world stuff & mixing FPS and RPG - but I didn't play that one, way back in the day. And sadly, when it was dirt-cheap thanks to places like Steam and GOG & re-releasing classics, still got that backlogged.

EDIT - Yeah, BP and STALKER 2 came out before Far Cry 2 & and its numerous sequels (to me, I think FC3 was Ubi's really big FC game) and Fallout 3, NV, and 4.

So glad to see BP on GOG.

Hopefully, Xenus 2: White Gold and The Precursors come to GOG next.
