Saw Priest at High Voltage some years back, so awesome seeing them live, headlining with Dream Theater!

Motorhead

Although I'm not a huge fan of metal, this is the order I'd put them for me. I really liked Sabbath (early era with Ozzy). I recall buying their first album on vinyl, scurrying home to put it on the turntable and then going "woah" when I heard it. Really enjoyed that album.

As a metal fan I swear this is one question I have no answer. Based on present, I wouldn't pick Sabbath with Ozzy. That's my only certainty.

They're all great bands, and that's all I'm going to say about that. I'm a big fan of the genre, and if I start reading too many of the ( somewhat questionable ) opinions posted on this topic, I'll probably just start raging... And proceed to use all kinds of inappropriate language.

One thing, however: Folks, learn to spell Motörhead properly. :|

Not to further confuse matters, but Faith No More's version of 'War Pigs' is IMHO waaaaaay better.

Each of those bands were kings at their peaks.
And all of them have had longevity.
To pick between them is almost silly.
You could add The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin to that list and ask the same question and still not be sure of the correct answer....
