Leroux: Still unclear whether it will be an addition to or a replacement of your old games though ...
It wouldn't be much of an upgrade if they just slapped another bunch of Bioshocks into your library...

In that case count me out, I'd like to keep the originals, and who knows if the new ones won't be a downgrade in one way or another.

BioShock: Revisit Rapture. Here's a sneak peek at the remastered version of BioShock.
Looks ok I suppose. So its just a few new textures and shaders? Wasn't that impressed with the first one anyways. Don't suppose it will be released here either.
Only like the first one but cool I guess

I (high) hope it will
I already have Bioshock 1 and 2 from a console bundle, and I got it for free when Gamestop was trying to ditch their Bioshock Infinite copies at used prices with a subscription card, but then again, who wouldn't want to play those games? They always remind me of System Shock, and that is never a bad thing :P
BioShock: The Collection - Remastered vs Original Graphics Comparison by GameSpot
What kind of comparison is this, with 2 completely different sets of hardware?
Looks a little nicer with the lighting. If it has fixed the physics problems on pc, I'll happily play them.
It still would be nice to see the Bioshock series on GOG someday...

One can wish.
I hope it won't be like last time when everyone was expecting Oblivion and Bethesda Sale and we got Didny Worl Classics :P

Yep. I was one of those suckers expecting Oblivion :(

All the more worse because I always hated those Disney films.
Release is today: (quote) If you already own BioShock, BioShock 2, or Minerva’s Den on Steam, the remastered version for the corresponding title will automatically show up in your Steam library as a separate game. You can expect to see the remastered titles begin rolling out in Steam libraries starting at 3pm PT on September 15, 2016 (find out what time that is in your timezone[www.thetimezoneconverter.com]). Once it shows up, you can choose to install the original version or the remastered version.
