The new games are nice. It feels good and responsive, the artistic direction is slightly different, and the textures and models look a bit better. I like it overall, and since it was free to me (I bought on Humble and got the Steam Key AND DRM copy for BioShock1) I'm not complaining even if it was hot garbage.

A LOT of people on Steam are complaining and claiming it wasn't free because they paid for the original BioShock, like they're entitled to an updated game nearly a decade later...

I would be happy if they actually fixed the sound issues I've experienced in Bioshock 2. Like getting shot by a turret and hearing only half the sound.
Texture streaming issues in Minerva's Den etc.

Well considering both Bioshock and Bioshock 2 have required some serious maintenance since day one and never got it, I personally agree with their comments. Its been near enough ten years that I have waited to get a working copy of Bioshock on PC and we still haven't got it.

Not really the current Devs' fault. They probably didn't have source code, and their job as hired was to make it prettier. When you're contracted to do one thing, you don't go outside your scope, even if it's in your capability.

DubConqueror: Or maybe not Alas. Seems I'm better off playing the original, the reviews on Steam complain about the remastered edition being very buggy with some old bugs still existing, new bugs added and the game not even looking better, with lower resolution textures than the original in places: http://steamcommunity.com/app/409710/reviews/?browsefilter=toprated
Ugh... I can't believe they screwed up BioShock. The original version was such a masterpiece, it's a shame to potentially tarnish its legacy like this.
