Hi Guys, I would like to buy aa couple of games here on Gog.com, but i would like to know wich linux distro are supported.

From what I can read, Ubuntu is the reference distro, but I would like to know if someone is using gog games on others distro, such as Arch, Fedora, etc.

Thank you for your help,

Officially GOG only supports Ubuntu & its derivatives such as Mint, however there are a number of people here who use other distros, including Arch.

Is that still true? When GOG added Linux support 2 years ago, both Ubuntu and Mint were officially supported. However, sometime in between Mint support seems to have been silently dropped.

On the other hand, I do use Arch and the vast majority of my Linux games on GOG work flawlessly, so I must assume they all must work on Mint too...

As per https://www.gog.com/forum/general/ubuntu_1604_now_supported_on_gogcom_57624 :
Our support also extends to any future non-LTS releases, official Ubuntu flavors (like Kubuntu, Xubuntu, etc.), and derivatives (e.g. Linux Mint, elementaryOS etc.), so as long as your operating system is part of the Ubuntu family, you have nothing to worry about. Naturally, our technical support and refund policy apply to all these versions.

Oh, good to know, thanks! Since Mint is no longer mentioned in game cards or in the list of OSs you can filter the catalog with, I assumed support for it had been ditched. But I'm glad this is not the case. :)

They used to only support Ubuntu and Linux Mint but now they support Ubuntu and all it's derivatives.

That's something that's really quite odd because that was also true for some games when only Linux Mint and Ubuntu were supported.
