Due to the amount of threads popping up, I kind of hoped they would come out with a bit more informative statement. But by the looks of things, they're possibly just hoping it will blow over. It's a shame that they weren't just more honest about their reasons, rather than making excuses to their entire customer base. Especially considering if it was just CCP supporters emailing & they've barely or haven't spent any money here vs all their customers that have supported them over the years.

It's a shame as GOG had really been building up a strong library (especially with some of the newer games that were starting to get released here DRM free too)

No doubt a lot of the big studios have been watching the goings on & will probably be apprehensive about releasing anything here for the time being (especially with the current ongoing Cyberpunk dramas too), obviously I could be wrong, but will be interesting to see.

In saying that, I'm guessing most of the studios/companies would've done the same as GOG anyway.
GOG staff doesn't work on saturday and sunday so If they will make a statement it might be monday or tuesday.

TBH I think they might even be working this weekend to deal with the Cyberpunk refunds.

Yeah. And maybe this crunch will produce better results than the last crunch.

I was more thinking the GOG customer service guys.

But yeah, the CDPR guys are most likely on a hell march this weekend as well. Crunch the best crunch they can crunch before 12/24? I don't have high hopes. Don't really care atm.

I know. I was just being sarcastic about all the outrage people had that CDPR did crunch the previous couple of months and now the GOG team is doing crunch.

Could be...But usually they do make new announcements of new games etc. from Monday-Friday...very rarely they post something saturday and sunday.....I believe they also even hired part timers to deal with support tickets.
Whats this about? Is it about the game or nah?

Oh please. I'm sure their top people are well-aware that this is a crisis situation and have been monitoring it closely every single day, including this Saturday and Sunday. And that is especially so since media have been directly contacting them.

GOG could very easily make a statement on the weekend if they wanted to. They don't need every employee to come into work in order for them to do that.

The only reason they haven't said anything is because they are trying to duck the issue and hope it blows over, rather than telling the truth and/or reversing their terrible decision.

To scapegoat "the weekend" for their silence is an extremely weak excuse.
OH, I am a bit confused..... the link from Batman™: Arkham Knight Premium Edition takes me to the general discussion, not the game's specific discussion forum....

The silence from them is perhaps the most insulting thing of all, given how quickly they initially responded to "gamers"
Maybe now is the time for them to cash out and merge with Epic. "Many Gamers" would appreciate being able to play their favourite games with EpicDRM.
