I'm not sure if you mean modern games similar to Golden Axe, but if you're also looking for classic console games, here are a couple favorites of mine:

Both have an original arcade version and a SNES port.

Roxolani: Similar beat 'em up/brawler /hack and slash with ancient/medieval/barbarian characters and world?
Volgarr the Viking gives me some Golden Axe vibes. I haven't played it though, so I couldn't say for sure.

I wish that GOG would pay the creators of Dragon's Crown to port their game to the PC as a GOG Galaxy launch exclusive.

Gameplay mechanic-wise that game is much more like Rastan:

Fenixp: There's always Sacred: Citadel.

Roxolani: I have Sacred RPG. I want something with Golden Axe's atmosphere (e.g a similar epic soundtrack, GA-like characters, world).
You can suggest any similar one form any genre, but a beat 'em up is better.
Well if you don't mind 3D there Blade of Darkness (aka Severance) - it used to be here but was sadly removed from sale
Or Rune http://www.gog.com/game/rune_classic
Or Demon Stone http://www.gog.com/game/forgotten_realms_demon_stone
I'm even thinking Draken - Order of the Flame but Sony keeps that one locked away from us for good *boo*

Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom and Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara are in my opinion, the pinnacle of side-scrolling beat ‘em ups. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARZyiO3F-fI

They’re available on Steam in one package simply called ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara’ and I’d like to see them come to GoG at some point.

The arcade version is the only real sh*t! With the "insert coin" message, whenever you lose all your lives :D

+1
Arcade is always the real shit :D

Still I want the game on GOG :)
Thanks guys, I'll check them one by one. That genre needs a revival. Old days of Genesis and SNES.
I think "Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus" is in the same style.
I don't think there was ever a PC version, but Gauntlet Legends and Gauntlet Dark Legacy were fun hack 'n slash / brawler / RPG-hybrid games. They were originally made for the arcade, then ported to home consoles. Great fun in local co-op.

If those games ever get ported to PC and brought to GOG it would be fabulous, but it seems they are not very well known at all...

Not as much Beat 'em Up as Golden Axe/D&D suggestions (those should be your priority), but you might like Rastan. It has more platforming elements, but I think you might like it.

Volarr the Viking was inspired by Rastan. (You can find his remains on one of the levels...)

There was a Golden Axe : Beast Rider on 360, it wasn't totally shite, but almost.
