You cannot have achievements on a Linux game if there is no Galaxy client for Linux to register said achievements, which is what this whole thread is about.

You are probably referring to in-game achievements, which is a completely different topic.

Sure, but you can't easily show them off. The best solution would be to have both in-game and launcher achievements. I think BioWare used to do that way back when.

I'm aware of that, my bad. I always mention Linux, even though I usually use macOS on desktop. Still great to see CDPR pull it off and add these things so long after launch. They're clearly listening.
