The GOG Code of Conduct says:

"2. WE DON’T TOLERATE:
2.9. Creating multiple accounts (f.ex. for ban evasion);"

https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/16033977811613-GOG-Code-of-Conduct-effective-from-17-February-2024

Apparently, you can create and use multiple accounts for games and movies if you don't use them to break the GOG Code of Conduct.

No you are not allowed to make a new thread about the same subject over and over again.

It will surely get you banned or anything.

Ps. Please mark my message as the solution, NOW! Or else... I guess you don't?

I guess my question would be, why do you want to do this?

I can think of a potential legitimate case, if a parent wished to create and supervise a second account for a user under 18 years of age.

Or if someone under 18 years of age wished to create a non-supervised second account for themselves. For all those educational games, you know.
1. Don't make a new account unless you've closed this one first.

2. Don't do stupid things that will get you banned like hacking GOG's servers, linking to pirated sites, or being racist. Review the GOG user agreement again as foad01 suggested.

You really have to go out of your way to get banned here by ignoring mod/staff warnings repeatedly. Even after the last user agreement and forum rule changes, where some users were worried about being banned because they thought they were losing free speech and first amendments, nothing has effectively changed.

How would anyone know if you did?

foad01 would see it on the live surveillance video feed.

Nothing quite like learning and having fun at the same time! But my second account, SultanOfSausages, who has his profile completely set to private, he really enjoys educational games!
This is like asking if you could make multiple email accounts... first and foremost, who cares? If you truly did, it wouldn't have been a question. This sounds like a troll post, but its been a while since I've taken my turn feeding any so here we go.

As far as I know, this will apply to all storefronts. It is frowned upon, but usually not very well enforced. If a storefront doesn't require a mobile number for 2FA or something of the sort, then you can typically create multiple accounts if you use some common sense. Whether this goes against user agreements, you'd have to double-check individual vendors.

GOG for example, doesn't like it. Blizzard on the other hand, wants you to have as many accounts as possible and preferably paying for the same thing on each of them!

Nobody cares xD however to buy more games, yes! ^
However, if you end up creating another account, make sure you don't accidentally go arguing with yourself in the forum.

It will make you look totally foolish. I should know.
If you made a boo-boo in your original account I'm sure the nice Gog helpers would advise you how to extricate yourself.

What about linking to racist pirate hackers who decide to target GOG?
